Still having problems with Folder Enhancer. All of my settings from a year ago are still in my phone somewhere, so whenever I install Folder Enhancer or 5 icon dock or anything, all of my icons just get tossed all over the place. Is there a way I can use iFile to delete whatever is causing it to do that? I uninstalled and went through and deleted everything with the phrase Folder Enhancer that I could find, but it still did it after reinstalling.

Have any people in the UK had the iPlayer app break since jailbreaking? When I select a programme/radio show, it doesn't stream and sits there with the round 'waiting' icon rolling indefinitely. On iPad, if that makes a difference. The app is working on my non-jailbroken iPhone, so presumably not a problem on their end.

I'm okay to make the move from jailbroken 5.1 to jailbroken 6.1 without any risk of losing the factory unlock, right? This is an iPhone 4S. Yes you can and deleting that plist file will fix all your issues. I was also having some weird bugs with springtomize 2 and clearing the plist file fixed them all. In fact its not a bad idea running through the plist files and clearing ones out that you no longer use, i had a poo poo ton. Just be careful with what ya delete, everything past com.apple is jailbreak related I believe. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. You can find the file here: /var/mobile/library/preferences jp.ashikase.folderenhancer.plist If you need to delete the springtomize plist the file name is: com.filippobiga.springtomize.plist (its in the same location as the previous plist file) You can do this using, ifile, mobile terminal or ssh. bonzaisushi fucked around with this message at 14:32 on Feb 6, 2013 |

Tried on my JB iPhone 5 and it works, may be an iPad issue but I've had times in the past with iPlayer before JB and it hasn't loaded a particular programme until I try again later. Well, I just found out the Weather app "fix" is temporary. My weather app stopped working, again. Also, I must have rebooted 8 times yesterday after installing stuff. The "hang on boot" thing is nasty. The evad3rs team swears they know how to fix it (Weather and hang on boot). It's been over 19 hours since they last posted any update, though.  I want to jailbreak a few more devices, but I want these issues worked out, first. My wife wants some of her favorite tweaks back, but there's no way I'm going to let her go out somewhere when she may not be able to get her phone to boot up.

Just had the strangest thing happen on my iPhone 5. When I jailbroke it Monday I put bitesms, lockinfo, and 5 icon dock on it. When it rebooted it threw a number of apps out of their folders and I spent quite a while reorganizing. This morning I sent a text and the phone crashed and rebooted (which took like 5 minutes). When it came back up it had my apps in the original state...and the five icon dock/lockinfo were gone. Literally gone, not even on the manage screen in cydia. Almost like the phone restored itself.

Springtomize doesn't seem to be speeding up animations for me like fakeclockup did. Launching/switching are still the same slow speed, while other things like the wait dial are faster. Kinda of crazy how an animation speed change makes the phone perceptively faster. E: and the #of icons in dock/icon resizing aren't working for me. Seems like everyone with their apps thrown everywhere are using Five Icon Dock. Personally after putting a folder on my dock and really cleaning up my home page, I only use 3 icons there but that's me V  Vedit: Yeah it really was nice to go in and just clean up my poo poo that was everywhere. It's been 3 freaking days since we've had the jailbreak and maybe a week since he released LI5. It will improve and he listens. Everyone needs to calm down.

There are a couple bugs with 6.1 like not fitting the entire IP address or SSID name when you replace the Time in the status bar. From what I've read he's working on them. I've had no problems with their icon resizing and dock numbers though.

I've noticed an odd thing happening since my jailbreak and oodles of apps, my notification sounds are very low, maybe half what they are normally. Mt alarm and ringtone are at their normal level it's just things like the Tweet and new Email notification sounds. I can't find a different volume setting for those sounds, they seem to share the normal one found in Settings-->Sounds

I remember having a problem in SBSettings with the airplane toggle. Every now and then putting my phone into airplane mode using the toggle would also disable facetime. Does anyone know if this is still an issue?

Has anyone tried the AnyVoice tweak? It's supposed to change Siri's voice to any nationality. I set it to English (Australia) and I get a safe mode crash whenever I ask anything.

It was just people saying not to use the OTA update because the SHSH blobs you get from it aren't going to work in the future when you try to stitch it up with redsnow? Show me where the weather, ncsettings, anything else you could possibly see be on your lockscreen? You can make "widgets" show as your default which shows all your calendar entries (no customization here...I mentioned this to him) right from the lock screen. LI4 was bloated as poo poo and I can guarantee you from his perspective, maintaining that code sucked rear end. My big issue with it is that there are two distinct paradigms which conflict with each other and no real distinction why one is the other: notifications and widgets. Why are reminders grouped with widgets? That doesn't seem like a widget to me. Also, as noted by you and many others, there's a lot of missing customization for some of them. I hate that the twitter widget is always expanded and I can't customize how many tweets I see. I hate that it's grouped in with notifications when something like calendar and reminders are widgets (which I think should be notifications). It requires extra steps to get the same information as before with no way around it. I think a simple solution would be: -Have the ability to put anything in that list as a notification or a widget (which side it shows up on: top or bottom). I like that there are two separate "pieces" to it but it doesn't make sense to how they were selected to show up where. This would be simple to implement on his side as a global identifier list of which widget should show up where. I could have ncsettings and the twitter widget show up when I pull down but calendar and reminders, etc. be always on the screen as "notifications". -Change how the "filter bar" (that you hate) is displayed. Honestly, if you have "notifications" show up on their own, it is pointless when you have no notifications. There's just a few icons on the screen that literally do nothing. This is a pretty big no no in UI design. It's confusing to the user. It's providing nothing but taking space. Make it so it only shows up when there are things to filter. On that note, don't make the filter bar be the pull "drawer". The hitbox for it is screwed up anyway or has a delay and it makes the interaction screwed up. Make it be the standard iOS drawer/grabber when there are no notifications (like the deafault for ios for more notifications is) and move down or become the filter bar if you have notifications. It's just weird having something on the screen that does nothing. I expanded on these in my e-mail I sent him but I think we should all calm down. The response I've seen in regards to LI5 has been sort of insane.
