The Crystal Kingdom is ruled by King Ruby and Queen Sapphire. Ruby and sapphire are the gem forms of corundum while peridot is the gem of olivine. Obviously she joined Cordelia to overthrow the oppressive oxides and bring about a glorious silicate utopia. :helladid:

To be fair that seems to be a big source of parental pride in this universe. Cucumber's mom was thrilled to find out her son was the hero, it stands that other parents would be happy to send their kids off to be heroes.
