I'm going to take two wild guessesThe Leck posted:This may not even be a movie, but I hope you guys can help. I'm remembering a scene of a man saying "We (I?) gotta get right" just before taking some sort of substance. This isn't much to go on, but it's on the tip of my tongue and it's driving me crazy. In Sopranos there is a scene where Chris is sitting in a car with a junkie (chris is trying to go sober), and the junkie asks if he can shoot up. Chris says fine, then takes a nose bump from the guy, then says 'You do need to get clean though'. oldpainless posted:I remember a scene where a man and a woman are fighting physically and it ends with the man with a knife/sword at the woman's throat so you think he won the fight. But then the camera shifts or pulls out and you see the woman also has a blade at the guy's crotch. She might raise her eyebrows or pat the knife against him, maybe I'm making that part up. This exact scene occurs in Pitch Black, but it's two guys fighting. Riddick and a bounty hunter on a ship. Riddick does the knife tap bit too.

Okay, this is a movie I heard about in an actors profile somewhere online (I want to say it was the AV Club, but I haven't found the right search terms if so). It is a film from the seventies with an actor similar to Stacy Keach, who plays a Bad Lieutenant-style anti-hero cop with an extreme racist streak. Apparently the intent behind the film was to show this characters actions as wrong, but the actor went to a screening of his own film in a coastal metropolis (I think New York, but it could've been Seattle or another similar city) and the audience was cheering the lead on. The actor supposedly swore off all similar roles past that. I'm really curious as to if this is a real story, or if somehow in the past few years of searching I've added or altered details to the anecdote. I'm not certain, but I think the name of the film was also the name of the main character, like Henry or Willard...

The president was caught in a cafe during a snow storm and someone wanted to kill him. It was incredibly contrived. Edit: The Saddam with a nuke movie is Deterrence. The plot is even more nonsensical than I remembered. RandomPauI fucked around with this message at 09:52 on Feb 14, 2013 |

I need help remembering a terrible early 80's slasher flick. Only part I recall clearly is a group of teens go into a house/building, the lights go out for 10 seconds, and when they come back on, one of them is missing. There is a TV with a VCR or a camera feed in the room with a note "play me". They turn it on and the missing party member is tied to a chair, with a plastic bag over her head, and it is tight and restricting her breathing. Then a caption appears on the screen "To be continued..."

A movie that is either from Iceland, Norway or Sweden. The main character is a redheaded teenage boy and is living on an island (might be all of Iceland). His school class has some trip to a place with hills, rocks green grass and the sea. - I'm trying okay. He is a virgin and complains about it; he also complains about how boring his island is. He finds out he is gay, and I think he is pissed about it. Not really a lot to go on. I will be impressed if anybody knows the title. EDIT: This is all from a trailer I saw a few years ago. - Don't know how many. Jarl fucked around with this message at 17:00 on Feb 17, 2013 |

Sorry if this one came up before, but this is a long thread. I saw this movie on TV maybe like ten years ago, but it had a definite 80s or early 90s feel to it. Somebody must know what it is with this clue: it was some kind of alien or monster or whatever, and they had these kinda big robes. They opened up the robe, a kid ran into it, and then when the monster opened it back up a bunch of bones or whatever came out. Thanks and God bless

I'm trying to remember the name of a movie I saw years ago. It was from the 80's, possibly early 90's. As far as I can remember it was about a guy who saves a girl from a group of occultists who are trying to sacrifice her to Satan or something. I think it starts off with the guy breaking up a fight between the girl and her boyfriend outside of a nightclub after her boyfriend slaps her in the face. One scene I remember is the guy is having a party, and his secretary (a middle aged red haired woman?) witnesses the girl take a turkey out of the oven with her bare hands, and her hands don't get burnt. I think the secretary tries to warn the guy about her but he doesn't listen. The girl ends up getting kidnapped by the occultists, so he goes to their mansion I think to rescue her. He ends up getting caught, and it turns out the girl was one of the occultists all along and the guy gets sacrificed. The movie ends with the girl and her "boyfriend" having a fight outside a nightclub, and a guy stepping in to protect her when she gets hit in the face by her "boyfriend". Sorry if it's a bit vague, it's all that I can remember.

This one I think is a long shot because I very well may have dreamed it. I remember watching this cartoon movie on television as a child so that would put it around the 90's. It was a halloween movie and all I can recall is it involving kids trick or treating and one of them becoming a ghost I believe. I strongly recall something about a little pumpkin and it having some sort of power. If anyone can get this ear worm out of my head it will be greatly appreciated.

I saw this scene in an article about some French director's work and style. It was a man and woman getting ready for bed. The woman brushed her teeth while the guy (smoked?) in bed. I think she danced from the bathroom to the bed. They migt have argued. I feel like it was a late 50s or early 60s movie?

This is just the thread I'm looking for! I saw this one day while I was home sick from school and it's killing me because I can't find it. The story of it is as follows- A guy (I believe he is mute, or partially mute, or mentally ill) saves a girl from a thug(s) from outside the place they work at. I think the place was a restaurant. She falls in love with him as a result. The only scenes I remember after that are- :They're both in her apartment and she has him touch her boob. He then cries. :The thug(s) comes back and stabs(Or fatally hurts) the main guy and he is taken to the hospital :The main guy wants to get out of the hospital so he could be with the girl. He escapes and he shortly dies after when he's back with the girl. (I think in her car) I watched it at home on DirectTV roughly 8-9 years ago. The movie look a little older so I don't think it was new at the time. I thought the girl was Marisa Tomei, but after extensively looking at her IMDb page, I do not believe it is her.

Years ago I saw a trailer for a film that came out in either the '80s or '90s. It looked like a zombie flick, and there's one clip that stuck with me & keeps bugging me. A guy is driving fast late at night, when he suddenly sees a zombie dog standing in the middle of the road motionless, staring straight ahead (might've had teeth bared), and he swerves to avoid it. The guy might have been driving a bus or long van. I've tried to find a copy of Pet Sematary 2 to see if that was it, but I currently can't get ahold of a copy. Pet Sematary 2 was my first hunch, but none of its trailers available online have that clip, and plenty of films have zombie dogs.

I was walking through a room today when a scene came on that had a guy that looked like Jason Mewes driving a dark red Mini Cooper via remote control (in what looked like a painted Xbox 360 controller!) through a mall while techno music blared. The Mini Cooper crashed through a wall into a room that had another, and he drove the second one out while the suitcase full of money in the first was thrown through a chute into a dump truck outside. Looking at TVGuide, I see nothing that matches that description.
