Baron Bifford posted:Fourteen years? I heard medical school is long but that seems ridiculous. Welp, let's take it this way (discounting he specifically said Med School). A bachelor's runs 4 years for the undergrad. Then Med School itself is, like, another 4 some years of education and exam passing to graduation. That's about 8 years. Residency can be longer depending on the speciality. Psychiatry I think was 3 years but surgical ones can run 6+ depending on what it is. The Doctor was a surgeon at one point. That's 14 years right there. Considering the low number of spots for surgical matters, you really have to kick rear end. Your exam results tend to dictate what you can be limited to in terms of practice.

Everyone else is being controlled by someone who manifests as a blue angel in their heads. It's there to show who is being controlled by who.

Some classic Spider-Man Hostess ads. Source: Any Marvel comic of the late 70s. The second panel and the second-to-last panel feature some of Mary Jane's best lines ever. You can tell how much fun, cynical or otherwise, the writers had with doing these things. This one isn't as funny, but for the sake of Spider-Fandom it's interesting to see the first and last appearance of the original Madam[e] Web. And quite possibly the worst villain ever created: Also, it just now occurs to me: Did Hostess ever have a problem with how it was always the villains who loved their products?
