Poor Jagdpanther crew. They just fixed that track and then the troll Hetzer blows it off again.

You know, Black Forest says they win all the time because of superior strategy and discipline, but it looks like the real reason is that they can afford whatever the gently caress they want. Yeah, this is definitely a sports anime.

Yeah, this is definitely a sports anime. If anything, they lack discipline; just look how they reacted when the Hetzer ran into their lines and disrupted their little dance.

My favourite Hetzer moment was actually the third time. "Alright everyone we're going to the town" *Hetzer carefully edges into vision in the background behind them* "GET OUT"

It's more of a sports anime thing where the strongest opponent will always play to the book while the underdogs will use unorthodox tactics to win.

Absolutely Amazing. That whole fight sequence. Also OVA3 is out too. The mystery of the ships. Isn't one of those in the group a submarine?

Is this episode 12 we're referring to? Because I for the life of me can't find it either at sites or Crunchyroll. Heck, Crunchyroll doesn't even have episode 11 yet...

Oh god, I knew it was coming and yet I still was in tears. 1080 ULTIMATE KICKFLIP PANZER DRIFT (crits for max damage) and good lord, that Maus takedown was pretty much WoT in a nutshell. Well, here's hoping for another season.

I hope they add to or upgrade their crap. Welp, 11 and 12 were.. something to say the least. WoT in a nutshell, indeed. Reminds me of some CW battles where, under-tiered and below full strength, go on to win against a full strength pub clan. Black Forest are the worst kind of pubs, the 'TigerII never penned frontally in combat' type of wehraboos. Also, Tiger P vindication at last. Hell. Yes.

Episode 12 had pretty much everything that made this series genuinely good. First all the humor, the break dancing grandmother in response to Mako's concern about her heart; Mako squeeing over getting her tardiness record erased in the same level a criminal might view getting a pardon. "Panzer vor!" Coming full circle in its bookending moment I found funny; the actual tank battles crossed over into humor territory plenty of times while mixing in plausible strategic elements from real life, clear WoT shout outs and the drama/tension we see below. The Lee finally got its claim to fame to eliminate its Lemon status by taking down that Jadgtiger and the Elefant, as mentioned above the Tiger P also managed to vindicate its reputation (along with the episode 11 hysterics with the girl repairing the engine on the move and yes, the mause take down was a thing of beauty. Also, how can we not mention? Mad Tank Drifting... I like how they ended that match with a stratagem that failed earlier in the series. I can't wait for series two, I hope this series is a huge success.

Watching the Oarai team take down the Maus was the best thing that ever happened to me. And to think that I almost dismissed the series because of how bland the first episode was. Well played, anime, well played.

I'm really glad the animators for this show took a break to fully develop the last couple of episodes. I imagined that they realized how much momentum the anime was getting with the all the action and CG sequences and really put out something for people following it to enjoy, rather than just getting the season over with.

That was a really fun end to a pretty good series overall. Wonder were they would take season 2 though? I guess if they just won the National Championship they could go to the world championship. I assume that's a thing since in the prequel manga one of the Miho's elementary school friends came from Germany and they do have tankwondo there.

I guess if they just won the National Championship they could go to the world championship. I assume that's a thing since in the prequel manga one of the Miho's elementary school friends came from Germany and they do have tankwondo there. Was it really just the National? They all represent different aircraft carrier communities that are tied to one national identity, and they fought every nationality that had any significant impact in WW2 with significant tank design differences. USA/Russia/Germany/Italy, and Miho's team basically represented the only good tanks from France and Japan. World Championship would have to dip into cold war era tank design to stand out, which ruins the period tank battles that adds to the shows charm. I'm hoping that they get a big new budget to splurge on a few new tanks and fight some different schools we haven't seen. It'd be neat if options like those in GuP were available in World of Tanks. The Hetzer, in WoT, is a slow load of crap that gets an incredibly nasty 105mm howitzer that's hilarious when lobbing HEAT rounds. But fast and maneuverable, it is not. Since they slapped a Hetzer frame and gun kit on a Pz38t, it makes a lot more sense how fast and silly the GuP Hetzer is. An equivalent in WoT would be a goon favorite, if it were possible.
