Wisdom Tree notably released games in light blue as well. I happen to own the light blue version of Bible Adventures, but only the black version of King of Kings. Oh well! Crap! New page! Have some pictures of things. There's a lot more but I have tons of poo poo in storage, this is just what I have in the living room... I need to dust a bit and the pictures are a little outdated. A friend let me borrow Xenoblade, so I don't have to pay out the rear end to play it . Are there any Wii RPGs I should snatch up if I see them? So far I've picked up Sakura Wars, The Last Story, and Phantom Brave.

Here's my little retro game corner: And here's the drawer of games, minus a few that I've lent to a co-worker: I can do an effort post of the SFC and N64 games when I get a chance, and I've got another small shelf with my more modern consoles (ps1 and up.) I've got a long way to go before I hit real but I'd like to grab a Famicom next. I'm super jealous of that Maze of Galious posted earlier!

Since we're posting our rigs I guess I'll post an updated one since I got the Saturn & s-video switch all setup All are hooked up via s-video except the twin famicom and the wii. The wii is hooked up to 480p component along with the dreamcast which has a s-video/vga switch box attached going to both 480p and 480i inputs. The duo-r now has an arcade card in it. Bonus cat heater Edit: How much do you think a complete golden wii peripheral set should be listed at on ebay? Since we're posting pictures of our setups, here's the closet that the wife and I reorganized a couple of weeks ago (please excuse the cell phone camera quality): Not pictured here are two more Dreamcasts, a high definition graphics model 1 Genesis and a bunch of games and cables hidden away by those drawers. Somewhat visible is the green vertical line that my TV insists on showing me every time I want to play some SNES.

So are there any good SCART switches (I'm in the U.S.) that don't cost an arm and a leg like the one in the OP? I'm about to splurge on the SCART/Component convertor (along with an audio extractor) and I figure I'll be looking at 3-4 systems with SCART output.

No edit: actually the only one i see on the op is 179 lmao. there are cheaper options that are still good, like the Hama SCART Switchbox 4/1 Model 42957. I got 2 shipped from german amazon for around $100 (I actually have one unopened I can sell you if you're interested, send me a pm) moron izzard fucked around with this message at 01:39 on Mar 29, 2013 |

Oh god I think I still have a copy of that somewhere. The music has this sourly apathetic Playmobil music box sort of ring to it. In all fairness to Color Dreams/Wisdom Tree, they did manage to make one good game. Crystal mines is decent. They apparently thought so too since they remade it twice on the same system.

No, I didn't get the collector's edition, but since this was only 2,000 yen I think I'm fine. http://fromjapan.co.jp/ Now I wish I got the collector's edition. My Surugaya order appears in.. Giant box form which explains why shipping was $140 Apparently this had something from Bandai in it at one point. There's always so much bubblewrap! It's pretty awesome. I've always wanted some Samba Maracas and now I have them! I thought the modular cord and extension was bad machine translation for extension cords but really they're Official Dreamcast phone cords! They were ¥20 each so not that bad. The Samba 2000 is opened but I think the original Samba de Amigo is sealed at least it looks that way and has a price tag on it from another shop. Also I can fish in style now with my fishing controller! My Saturn & Playstation stuff I forgot to take a picture but I did get a second gun for Virtua Cop. Also the Pocket Fighter book seems like it's a manga and pretty cool I got it because it was ¥80. Now this is some fun stuff considering both Game & Watch collections are sealed as is Tingle Balloon Fight. I'm probably going to open them because they were about $13/each and if they sent me sealed copies they must be pretty common, right? Also Takeshi Castle 1 since I accidentally bought 2 when I imported my Family Trainer mat with my last order. Then a couple model figures and a music CD that my wife found that she wanted. She just looked for random cheap stuff. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and I need to find my 3DS or my DS Lite so I can start playing some games!

Woo my partner signed off on me getting a new tv so now the decision is if I do the 42" panny led LCD or the plasma... I love the color depth on my older panny plasma but at the same time playing retro games on a plasma means terrible image retention for osd and other portions. With the xrgb mini it seems a LCD is a wiser choice because of this

When I bought my copy of Secret of Evermore a million years ago, me and my Mom had played through part of it already by renting it so we just went with a saved game already on this other copy that was a little bit through. The main character was named FuckYouKid#1 and the dog was ShitHead. My Mom and I both thought it was the funniest god drat thing in the world.

Haha, I am remembering an AVGN episode where he criticizes Nintendo for including top labels for NES and SNES games but not for the N64. He says something like, "It's not like they lost the technology to extend the label to the top of the cartridge." As far as labeling them myself, so far it works for me. I do understand though that some would call it heresy. About the balance thing, you're completely right. Stacking N64 games side-by-side on a shelf creates leaning/falling problems. Since N64 is cool but not my main focus, I haven't really let it get to me.

All of this game save talk is making me want to go through every one of my save-able games and look for gems like Fuckyoukid#1. Back when my brothers and I were little, we'd ride our bikes to M&J video with our TWO WHOLE DOLLAR allowance (which was the same price for a 2 day game rental) pretty well every weekend. I remember getting Ultima Exodus every now and then and my game save always being on there. Years and years later when they sold off their random games, and one of my brothers got me the cart for Christmas the save was still on there son! Character names were limited to 5 letters and most of mine were real life names, except of course for my Wizard Pubes. This is one of the big reasons I want to get started replacing batteries on my games. I got my hands on a Retrode and hopefully will get the GB adapter soon so I can start yanking the saves off my SNES/GB in preparation for The Great Battery Replacement of 2013.
