It's not like Chris is trying to play lame. Maybe a year ago, but now he gets aggressive with Morrigan as plan A. Thing is, everything he does gets pushblocked, because her fly-unfly mixups are kind of terrifying especially with missiles. People think Morrigan's a one-dimensional character but she's not. She's like two-thirds of Magneto and two-thirds of Dorm combined. That's what makes her effective.

Chris G has mastered a style of play that's technically very challenging and extremely effective. But it's also the same poo poo every goddamn match and it's boring to watch; I'm always rooting for Chris to lose just because I want to see something different. It's why I root against Infiltration; the guy is amazing at AE and I can respect that he's really good at the game, but it's just so hype when somebody does well against him, I'm always hoping for something cool to happen.

Yeah I'm incredibly impressed at what Chris does. It's fantastic from a technical perspective. It just happens to be sometimes that the best strategy tends to not be particularly interesting to watch over and over again. Such is the nature of competitive spectator events sometimes!

It's just not accurate, especially with how masterful Chris G has gotten at varying his gameplay and staying a step ahead of his opponents.
