I never really saw the Escort as a car you'd want to gently caress up, but here we are:

There have been times, on dark-as-gently caress back-country roads, roads that I did not know well, with Farmer John barreling towards me & oblivious to the fact that he was burning out my retinas and turning my evening into a tunnel of horrors, that I dreamed of a rig like that. For just such an occasion.

I can't get the image out of my head of them holding big signs that say "God loves fags" while picketing Nicorette or whoever. Also, I have a little trouble parsing out "It's not about me", "Mom's taxi" and "If Mom ain't happy nobody is". That last one sounds particularly creepy, like a line you'd hear uttered in a resonating hillbilly growl just at the point in the horror film where the surviving main characters think they've finally found a way to escape to safety.

This showed up at the Lamborghini Festival south of Houston yesterday. It's an Abarth, either that or he spent alot of cash on decals, wheels, and that intake cover.

Saw this thing the other day when I went out for lunch. It might be hard to tell, but that body kit in the front is all scraped to poo poo, and the rear matched it. You can just about see the enormous wing it's got too.

Don't forget the Chinese made LED bulb inserts that barely light up under the best or circumstances. That way, you get dim light and super fast blinking turn signals to really keep the people behind you on their toes.

ALmost all the crazy tea party cars I've seen posted in this thread and others have been Japanese marques that are built in America by non-unionized workers in union-hostile states, which is perfectly consistent with (what I understand of) their political views. Were you expecting them to drive a Government Motors vehicle built by UAW communists?

D C posted:http://socaltrucks.com/2011/11/advantages-of-hid-headlights-on-lifted-trucks/ In their defense... quote:On a lifted truck or SUV, you’ll need to be extra careful when adapting your vehicle’s HIDs for use on the road. HID headlights must aim a fair amount lower than typical headlights, as when aimed at the usual target they can be blinding to oncoming traffic. As lifted trucks and SUVs sit higher off the road than your standard passenger car, the aiming adjustment must be made even more carefully. Though this isn’t a difficult feat to accomplish, it’s something that must be accounted for in order to maintain safe driving experiences for everyone.
