12 Reasons to Die is loving sick. I love it when a high concept album works out but I'm disappointed that the tour isn't coming to the southeast (closest thing I saw was New Orleans)... here's hoping it gets extended. Looking forward to more hip hop production by Adrian Younge. Dude is talented and versatile. (Also from a few pages back: holy crap Soul Tape 2 is even better than the first! I went to the Ghostface / Adrian Younge show in SF last week. The show itself was pretty good although it was at the worst venue in town and the crowd was terrible. The live band was really good, Ghost killed it although he didn't do too many songs, and the theatrical aspect of it wasn't incredible but it was kinda neat. At one point in the show Ghost asks for people from the audience to volunteer to do ODB's verse from Protect Ya Neck and gets this chubby white dude with a curly fro and a Wu shirt up on stage. The guy starts taking camera phone pictures with Ghost and people are kinda booing him, and then he absolutely slays the verse. The entire club went bananas, it was pretty neat.

I revisited that French Montana and Waka tape from last year and it holds up surprisingly well. Usually tapes like that get one listen, yet some how I can listen to that one over and over.
