If MBDTF is any indication, half of those wont actually end up on the finished album.

Also picking two random songs from MBDTF would give you:

Rick Ross
Jay Z
Nicki Minaj
Bon Iver
Elton John
Fergie
Rihanna
Kid Cudi

So it's not that far out there.

Like I've said, Kanye put Elton John and Fergie on the same track and it turned out to be awesome. Even if Bieber gets a full verse on the new solo album (he won't) it'll be good.

Elton John plays the piano bridge on the original and some of the vocals synthesize like 5-10 people together so I'm pretty sure he's "on" the track.

Or a mess. Like All of the Lights. Kind of a gimmick imho. (But the LP could also be great like MBDTF).

Also Cruel Summer was pretty terrible but I obviously understand the difference between a Kanye solo and a Kanye produced.

Yeah, "I tried to tell you but all I can say" part is Elton. I think the album notes say he plays the piano on the Interlude too.

And AotL is brilliant. That sound he gets from melding so many people together....yum.

I just wish Kanye would go back to basics and make an album that doesn't need 9 million features by every single person and their cousin off the Top 50 billboard chart. But I also trust in Kanye to do something great. Sorry but to me All of the Lights is a gimmick song that would have been better IMHO stripped down. It isn't the weakest song of MBDTF though, that honor goes to So Appalled. Just cause Pitchfork gave it a 10.0 doesn't mean the album is flawless, but it is great.

Super No Vacancy

If anything, throwing a shitload of people on the album hearkens back to early Kanye more than the opposite. It was his median pair of albums that didn't have features on every other song.

I dunno, Kanye's done some amazing stuff with Beiber before. Though I seem to have heard that Beeb's hit puberty and isn't so great a singer at the moment?

Dude regularly wears skirts and is consistently the most fashionable dude in Hip-Hop, is having children with a reality tv star, and despite his owning and managing a wildly sucessful record label, still rants and raves maniacally and gets butt-hurt when the two most commercialized artists out there tour together without him.

Somehow, I don't foresee 'going back to basics' anywhere in his future.

Sorry that that is from one of the worst verses Jay-Z ever wrote.

MBDTF is great, but let's face facts: So Appalled is the weakest track on the album. IMHO All of the Lights is the 2nd weakest mostly because the 9-million-features-gimmick factor alone is not enough to carry it.

Also Fergie. Kid Cudi. Swizzy. CyHi. All of these people need to stfu and stop ruining what would otherwise be decent tracks.
