So I'm going to visit my friend from another country, and I want to impress his dad with some spicy cooking. Can somebody recommend me THE SPICIEST chili sauce? This guy only seems to be affected by ghost pepper sauce, because he'll swallow up any of the spiciest curries like it's candy. No restaurant he's ever been to can ever cater to his spicy needs. My friend says there's no chance of surprising him with anything spicy.

Perhaps some sort of Trinidad Scorpion chili sauce?

E: Something to keep bugs out, not to keep them off us. Oddly I sprayed some Goo Gone to get rid of mounting squares on the walls from the last tenants (we moved here in August; our landlord is just that bad) and I came back to the find a couple gnats seemed to have flown onto it, then had fallen to the floor, dead. :iiam:

You also might have little fruit flies. So try cleaning any drains or food disposals you might have.

Yea, if they are fruit flies just grab some sticky paper stuff and they'll be gone in a few days. Just make sure you don't have anything in your drains/trash cans where they can lay the eggs and hatch.

BITTER POOR PERSON
I've also found taking a ramekin or shallow bowl and filling it with a mixture of cider vinegar and a few drops of dish soap (and maybe a small slice of fruit) and then covering it with plastic wrap and poking some holes in it works wonders. The fruit flies go after the cider vinegar, get trapped under the plastic wrap and the soap in the vinegar kills them.

I have this which was a random airport buy, it's been perfect though. Much less tight than the cheap free ones you get on planes, very lightweight but still secure. I use it at home too, since my new place doesn't have blackout curtains yet.

Bucky's 40 Blinks mask are the best I've used.

Their quality used to be pretty lovely but now they seem to be back up with the price point.

They have some sort of soft shell in them that keeps the fabric away from your eyelids which can be the most irritating part of trying to sleep with a mask on.

Can anyone recommend a good set of hiking shoes for medium to rough terrain. What brand should I be looking for?

The main purpose really is to go off the trails and for some forest camping. I don't have back or leg problems but comfort is a plus as always.

From my experience, it's the dryer sheets that ruin the moisture-wicking, not the dryer itself. But if you don't use dryer sheets, the clothes are full of static when you take them out of the dryer, so pick your poison, I guess?
Dryer sheets will immediate ruin moisture wicking, but in general, moisture wicking shirts will wear out with washing. The ones that go the fastest use a simple coating on the fabric (Nike, Under Armour), but CoolMax shirts from Adidas and others wick moisture via the shape of the fabric fibers themselves.

I've been rocking a Butterfly wallet for a couple months now. I carry six cards and whatever cash I happen to have. It could probably hold double that or more no problem. I never carry those stupid loyalty cards, everyone will take a phone number just fine. It's so drat light I don't notice it at all.

The only downside I've had with it is anything less than a full size card will not stay in it. It's not rigid at all, the cards themselves provide the structure. Never had any regular cards or cash fall out though.

I've been using this "Duck Bill" money clip for about seven years now and could never go back to a wallet. I keep three credit cards, a bunch of bills, my license, and a few other smaller cards in it, in my front pocket, and couldn't be happier.

The Duck Bill is too thick and annoying. That raised clip pulls/tears at your pants and eventually leaves a mark. There are thinner ones of that type of make which are good, like this one my friend has. The cards slide into the back, and they stay without moving. When I went looking a few years ago, I settled on this. Mine is made from parachute cloth and is about as thin as his, I just like the billfold better than the clip.

I recently decluttered my wallet and went with a foldwallet from fiveleft:

I can also recommend pretty much anything from fiveleft, I have on of their careercarrier bags; it's about 5 years old now, I use it almost daily and it looks as good as new, and I get compliments pretty much every time I take it out. It looks masculine without being too overcompensating, and it's big enough to take a laptop or drill or bottle of whisky without being bulky. Their stuff's fairly expensive but the guy makes his own leather and it's all handmade in North America.

I could suggest a X-Mini 2, it uses a normal audio plug, and can be charged with a Mini-b Usb plug, and lasts for 6+ hours on a charge.

Bought one off ebay, and I really like it, neat for when you just want to hear some music while you're showering, without having to rely on the lovely speakers on my phone.
( You can even buy a bunch of them, and chain them together, but I have no idea why you would want to. )
