Here's a quandary- I picked up Tiger Woods 14, and there's a set of pants in there I really, really like. I actually want them in real life, and can't find them anywhere.

Flirting with the idea of a Monaco 4-pack. Initial reviews are very favorable. It's an independently-produced heist game. I think I was most intrigued not by tales of precise lockpicking, hacking, etc. but by the PA guys' story about smashing a hole in a wall and stealing a Lamborghini to get away from a horde of cops. http://store.steampowered.com/app/113020/

also Augusta National hilariously intefered with the game- when you play Augusta you have to wear this really basic uniform because apparently they were aghast at the idea of a golfer with a mohawk or something playing their sacred ground

I've been playing MLB The Show on Vita, and holy crap the hours fly by playing it. It's probably the most fun I've had playing a baseball game since MLB 2k5.

I love The Show, such a great game. Haven't played one in a few years, are online games still laggy piles of poo poo? MLB Power Pros will always be my favorite sports game though. I'm scared to think of the hours wasted playing that game, still bummed konami quit localizing it.

I only have vanilla civ4  bengy, get the civ5 expansion. It makes the game go from a C to an A+. Totally worth it. The DLC isn't worth paying extra for since it always goes on sale for super cheap all the time. I already clocked like 40 hours. Help.

Multiplayer Civ seems like it would lend itself really, really well to a mobile platform. If you could just work out how to manage that much information output in a useful way visually and not have completely hosed controls, it'd be addictive as hell.

The second is really the strong point in the series, they took everything that didn't work from ME1 (like the terrible loving inventory system, the goddamn mako and too many skills) and fixed them. The story is grimdark as poo poo compared to the first one and there's lots and lots to do. I didn't even mind the final boss to ME2. In ME3 though, the game totally suffers from AAA syndrome. Everything has to be bigger and better. More fan service, more explosions, more everything. It's okay, but the ending to the series is terrible.

I thought the ending to ME3 was completely retarded (what a controversial opinion, I know) but I still enjoyed the game besides that. Also the multiplayer completely shocked me, it's really, really good! The only thing besides the dumb choose a color ending I didn't like were the loving Banshees. gently caress those stupid things, one of the most frustrating enemies I can remember.

What I love in Mass Effect is how they at least try and make sense of the SciFi and they looooove giving you a ton to read about. I can read about how battleships fire shells at .1c all day. Picked up the Tomb Raider reboot on PSN. Gameplay wise it's not bad, like Assassin's Creed in a different setting. Downside is the frequent (but forgiving) QTEs and liquid splatter on the screen. As a guy who wears glasses most of the time, that poo poo is annoying enough in real life. Why pretend the TV is a camera and have it in games?
