Somehow you caught my fighter in her very brief and unfortunate "leveling up warrior to get augments" stage and I guess have been holding on to her ever since. Kinda weird seeing her with a 2-hander. Well, got through a chunk of BBI yesterday, up through the cursed dragon. I used a number of wakestones during the fight, I felt like probably too many, but I got to a certain point and really didn't want to start over. Also burned through a ton of demon periapts. The whole thing worked well enough (using a lot of hunter bolt) that I decided that might be a viable strategy for the offline Ur Dragon, since it's got so many hearts, hunter bolt could just target all of them. And what do you know, it worked great, so took down the offline Ur Dragon last night as well. After getting those 25 wakestones, I don't really feel as bad about using the ones I did in BBI. Also, hopefully Auri (SoulChicken's pawn) gets a lot of RC for going through BBI with me. For some reason I've done most of it so far with just her and my main pawn, skipping a fourth.

Now I'm on BBI after its been made harder, what exactly resets things? I ran to darkmoon tower and picked up a couple of things then ported out to enhance stuff and everything has respawned without me resting

I wish there was an easy way to guarantee the magick bow upgrade ring. I've got the magick archer ring thanks to Lunethex but I want 9-fold bolt. What drops the level 3 BBI gear early on thats farmable? I was hoping that Cursed Dragons might but they seem not to.

Basically, the two doors you needed to take detours to get keys for stay open, the doors out of the boss rooms stay open so you can just run through if you want. You do need to open the shortcuts again though.

Easy access to a singular Gorecyclops in Midnight Helix if you don't want to have to fight two in Area 3. Also Ward of Regret might have particular enemy spawns you might want to farm, as well as the only predictable Maneater mimic chest spawn. We all know the one.

I've either missed a step or messed something up. I'm in NG+ and finished up Matter of Myrmidons and Lure of the Abyss but when I talk to Maximillan he won't talk to me because I don't have a Wyrm Hunters License. What did I miss?

Thanks for taking Adiric (Hien) out, if anyone else wants to, feel free, I'm currently fighting the Dragon Pope in bitterblack, and down to a single pawn. What a fun game :edit: Just beat the lich, whoever's pawn's name is Mika, without her, I'd of died hardcore. Man, Bitterblack really does give you ridiculously powerful stuff when you take it back to the main game. Ripped through the Chamber of Fate in about 30 seconds. Chimera was dead ten seconds in, Gorechimera took another ten, and by that point the lich was almost done, one more hit finished him. Then there were two wolves left. Anyway, I think I mentioned screenshots a while back. Finally got round to grabbing them off the PS3. First of all, silly ones. A goblin riding an invisible bike:  Gransys vets sometimes have to take drastic action in Chimera Dentistry:  This guy just cracked me up:  A close up on a cute kittycat:  And then even closer:  A Cyclops gets a rude awakening:  A sunbathing Griffin:  And look how happy this guy is to see you!  Then I took a few of the Ur-Dragon too. Here he is flying in:  Giving the camera a nice toothy grin:  And then once he died the lighting in the Chamber of Lament went all funny, so I got some good shots of him:  Isn't he pretty?  Finally, a mystery screenshot! Guess what this is:  And that's the end of the Gransys Safari for now.

I killed 2nd loop Daimon and he didn't drop any materials at all. Just gold.  My main pawn died right before him too and didn't make it into the room with me, so she missed out on like five or six levels. jonjonaug fucked around with this message at 19:03 on May 19, 2013 |

I'm currently on the second run of BBI and my pawns are dead all the time. I mean they used to die sometimes but now it's just ridiculous. Every dragon fight I've had on the second run I've spent like 30% of the time running around reviving them, which is pretty annoying. Also someone rent my pawn, I need RC to purify my thingies. Rift Crystals drop frequently in BBI but they're peanuts compared to your pawn returning with 100k+.

So a couple pieces of my armor just got dragonforged. I haven't fought a dragon.  I did see the drake, but I turned tail as soon as I did and he didn't notice me. I'm not complaining too much, mind you.Also, I'm playing as a Warrior and dear me, I forgot how much I enjoy hitting things.

If anyone wants to give my pawn quest knowledge it would help me out a lot! Everything is so drat expensive at the Black Cat also! Gamertag: Cappy Bottoms I did take down my first chimera a day back so things are looking up. Also is it better to wear a one piece suit of armor or individual pieces?

^^^ Multiple pieces is a little better, but a set is fine too(especially at low levels). All the stuff at the Black Cat is really terrible, don't waste your money unless you REALLY want that armor.

Man this game escalates fast. Just a few days ago I couldn't take down an ogre, today I am slaying dragons without breaking a sweat. Then things got really weird. I have no clue how to navigate the Everfall or tell if I'm making any progress, but I'm loving my time in it. All these new monsters are great, even if they have been kind of pathetic so far.

The Lion's Spine is a cool piece, but there's tragically few cloaks you can wear that don't interfere with its shoulder piece, so you have to wear things like the Dragon-Knight's cape/cloak thing, which aren't my favorite, or go without. I think it goes very well with the Hinterland's Waistguard.

You go there for the fights, the loot and the experience, but you're not really making progress outside of padding your stats. Nothing stays dead. The rooms seem to be randomized, at least to an extent. You can reload a save after entering some of the rooms and there'll be a different group of enemies in there. Difficulty will spike without any real system to it, so you shouldn't force a fight that you're not having fun with. There's always some other chamber to try. If you find it too easy, try to locate the Chamber of Woe and revisit that. I think that's the one with a door directly to an arena where you can get all sorts of bosses, as opposed to the smaller rooms with wolves and harpies and poo poo.
