to be fair re: not touching elevator buttons i had a hospital alcohol and drugs services guy tell our cohort about how he always carried a pen in his right hand b/c really anyone (even people with stuff like mrsa) could wander loose really anywhere. he also explained it was good to carry a pen around because then he could avoid touching patients + helping do gross things  that said, at least carrying a pen around doesn't look dumb as heck

here is my kickstarter idea it is a coffee stirrer/cup seal/cooler!! your coffee is too hot and needs to be stirred and oh, it spills in your car it is just two heatsinks stuck together, cut into a circle, and a rubber ring is on the outside.
