Anyone else have issues with NCsettings and the wifi toggle randomly not working? It happens to me all the time where tapping it changes the color from off to on or on to off but it doesn't actually enable/disable wifi. A respring fixes it but I can't be the only one with this issue?

I've had this problem intermittently the past month or so and have just used a respring to work around it. It would be nice if it didn't happen though, but its infrequent enough to not be a big deal.

I just saw an article that claims Facebook is not allowing iOS to suspend it normally, causing a drain on the battery. Does anyone know of a tweak to kill the Facebook app every time it is closed? I currently have my phone passlocked and it seems that you can still gain access to the photo roll using BiteSMS as a picture attachment. Anyway to block this?

Settings->Privacy->Photos and turn off biteSMS? E: actually that doesn't work but you can go to biteSMS settings, privacy, and disable the photo menu from quick reply from the lock screen. dutchbstrd fucked around with this message at 17:24 on Jun 1, 2013 |

One of the newer options in the most recent BiteSMS updates is that you can set a passcode lock to answer or initiate a text. Try that!

Thanks. I have 6.1.3 but since I have an A4 processor (iPhone 4) I can still jailbreak, correct? edit: looks like I have to downgrade to 6.1.2 first. So my 4S is on 5.0.1. I can't upgrade to iOS6 and jailbreak at this point, can I? Damnit. I want to play Zombies Run, and the only thing I really use is BiteSMS and SBSettings. SBsettings I can live without, but BiteSMS is pretty amazing as far as replying instantly from wherever I am. Did they ever allow that in iOS6? Should I just stick with 5.0.1 for now? If you've never saved any SHSH blobs, you're stuck until iOS 7 too.

Maybe I should just sell my iPhone 4 - it's unlocked, not sure how much I can get for it. I'm just getting really tired of the lack of control we have over our own devices. Even now, I'll have to wait a few months and go through the various hoops when I could just get an Android phone instead. Speaking of which, how much do you think I could get for an iPhone 4 (16GB) that's unlocked?

I got $114 last week for an iPhone 4 8gb in like-new condition, not unlocked, from Gamestop. They're notorious for poor trade-in values, so the thing is still worth something.

Is there a tweak where I can make the portrait-lock button a lock-in-this-orientation button? Like if I am playing a game landscape and laying on my side, I don't want it to change back to portrait, but there's only an option for locking to portrait by default.

Is there any way to stop certain apps from caching so god damned much data and filling up my storage? Vine and Instagram are the most egregious, hoarding about 600mb each, but many others like Tumblr are 12mb apps that are weighed down with upwards of 100mb of useless poo poo. I know I can periodically clean that poo poo out but I want to stop it from happening in the first place. It's especially annoying since many of those cleaning programs also kill all login data, so I have to log back in to everything afterwards. I should note that I don't even post anything on any of these apps, it's not like I'm creating all that data myself, they just cache everything that comes in. edit whoops jailbreak thread.
