For most of its existence, The JBL and Cole Show has been 30 highly entertaining seconds surrounded by five minutes of repugnant drivel. The week this picture is from, Bryan's terrible magic act provided the 30 seconds. Regal assisted.

I find this a little harsh, the Cole bashing is usually amusing and the horribly acted "celebrity" videos they have each week are usually great for all the wrong reasons with this weeks awful delivery by Brad Gilbert being a great example.

Teddy Long singing along to the Dusty Rhodes theme and looking happier than he has done in months, what more do you want? :v:

I've always found JBL's Cole bashing was extra lazy on the show. Like even lazier than his Josh Matthews bashing. Just kind of annoying yelling and I'm usually a pretty big fan of JBL.

I'll freely admit that I haven't watched at all since the Superstar Search thing ended though, so maybe it's gotten better?

The best/worst part about that skit is Nash puts on the make-up and the whole hair job and the fake belly and does a decent enough impression of Arn while Buff Bagwell just puts a simple blond wing and talks in his regular voice.

Well everyone else's costumes sucked, too, to be fair. Syxx's wig and fake nose were awful looking. The main point was to make fun of Arn Anderson, so I feel like they went all out on that and everything else was secondary.

There is, surprisingly, always hope.
Konnan rubbing his hands menacingly in the background and not saying a word as Mongo was probably the best thing Konnan did that year.
Probably the best thing Mongo did too, for that matter.

Bagwell did do the towel toss, which is a lot harder than it seems, so I give him credit there.

Soooo...I guess I forgot how weird WWE was in 2006. We had a guy that humped people in the ring, a guy who was escorted to the ring by his racist caricature of a mother who may or may not have been Tyler Perry, and Randy Orton had a full head of hair, only a few tattoos, and didn't have the complexion of a terracotta pot. The fact that both Goldust and Orlando Jordan are in the ring together and yet they aren't the strangest thing in the ring is a testament to how bizarre a time this was.

It was like they wanted to restart the Attitude Era, but just the really weird parts like Beaver Cleavage.
