So here is something weird. My warrior has tempest. I don't have the expansion. My other characters below 50 do not have their SL soul. Bong logged in and has no SL souls. He played longer than I did. What gives?

At 4 convictions it does more damage than your main single attack (Strike of Judgement because life-dmg) 60 druid for everything else/pets. Macros: Single Target: #show Strike of Judgment suppressmacrofailures cast Shield of Oak cast Subtlety cast Combined Effort cast Bolt of Radiance cast Strike of Judgment //druidicar (I add that //comment line at the end for each macro so I know which role I have it there for, it helps me a lot) AE: #show Even Justice suppressmacrofailures cast Combined Effort cast Shield of Oak cast Even Justice //druidicar If I'm pulling just one mob, I debuff/dot the hell out of it on the way in. I cast Thorns of Ire to pull (if just one mob, pet will autoattack on this debuff, doesn't aggro the mob on it's own). This makes the mob take 1500 extra damage when I attack it, every 3s. Then I hit it with Crushing Force, a dot over 15 seconds (crushing force is also my ranged pull/aggro spell for multiple mobs). Then I hit it with Eruption of Life (debuff that makes it take more damage on the next 5 hits/15 seconds). Then I spam my single target macro until it dies. Refreshing the debuffs as needed (only needed on stuff that has a lot of hit points). If it's a bunch of mobs that I want to pull I just use Crushing Force to aggro it all, pull it into a pile then Even Justice the poo poo out of it until everything dies. Using tank pet there is no worries about aggro or death, you heal it like crazy with Even Justice, since life damage based attacks trigger bigger Righteous Mandate (make sure you buff tank pet with this) heals. Meanwhile your self-buff Spirit of Upheaval is making your pet do earth damage to 5 things around it, which itself triggers damage on 5 things around it. Damage spam. Have fun! edit: if you're going to be doing stuff like onslaughts/world events and there are tanks present, use the caster pet and make sure the toggle-buff Fae Disruption is toggled on to make it cast AEs which trigger Spirit of Upheaval, which triggers Spirit of Upheaval. Massive AE damage, but the one caveat is that your pet casts it's AE damage spell in a cone in front of it. I do fine not paying attention to it, but if you min-max, you might wince when it "only" AE hits 3 mobs for 12 lines of different damages each, or whatever it's so much floaty combat spam I just enjoy it. mr. nobody fucked around with this message at 03:06 on Jun 21, 2013 |

I mostly just stopped at 44 for Spirit of Upheaval, then started dumping into Inq because Inq has Armor of Devotion, 10% SP, and 5% damage which are all pretty appealing. I actually dropped down to 16 Justicar, Mien of Honor is nice for getting mobs onto my pet quickly but the healing bonus is negligible, and since I'm usually not getting hit the damage reduction/healing taken talents aren't of much value. And Doctrine of Loyalty is pretty useless for a solo build so.  Just means more points in Inq, I guess! I think I can get Shroud of Agony now which is even more AoE damage.

Re-rolled onto what is now the correct shard, need an invite on Frapples. Also, fishing is exactly the same as it is in wow and I am just as mind-numbingly addicted to it. Got to level 9 lickity-split, then got a fishing pole from some random fish loving npc and have since gained no more levels. Maybe once I finish these stupid rare fish dailies...

Has WoW fishing improved since I last played it? Rift's fishing is nicer, because it's got a bigger animation, and a distinct sound effect for when you've got a bite. You can click anywhere on the screen, or better yet, just hit your fishing button again, to pull up your fish. It makes fishing while I watch Netflix on my second monitor so convenient.

Bah, I'm still missing my SL souls. I got the expansions through Raptr, for the sake of it, I even bought the souls from the cash store, but still, no god damned tactician on my rogue, and no new souls on any new char I create. GMs say they're working on it, after I ticketed them on the day of f2p release, but still nothing. I just want to try out a tactician, dang nabbit!

I think Kerrzhe's Shrine of the Griffin is still open, go to the guild dimensions screen or something. The pegasus was in a youtube of developers checking out dimensions on the PTS. Trion looks at the first dimension, says it's ok. Goes to the griffin and says Wow for 10 minutes.

So how much loyalty do I get for buying Rift funbux? If I only need to spend five dollars to unlock the 1500 loyalty thing I'll do that, but if I need any more, would ponying up the extra  for one month's paid sub get me where I need to be? All I want to do is list things on the AH, drat it. Bag slots also wouldn't hurt and one month's sub wouldn't kill me, especially if this is one of those F2P models where some of the sub benefits remain after you lapse back to a free account.

You get 2 loyalty for each credit purchased and 2 for each credit spent (so if you buy+use, you get 4 loyalty each)
