Dive kick should be Action RPS, not whatever this is turning into. If it was still just Dive and Kick with dive and kick and the timer was a bit shorter I'd still like it.

I've actually never seen divekick played before. I watched like five matches and thought "man, this game is boring as poo poo" and switched over to the other stream so I could wait for Marvel to start. Only later did I realize that I'd rather wait for marvel than watch divekick? DK is rear end.

It sucks that all the drama with staged/sandbagged matches ends up surrounding Fanatiq so often, because when he plays like he really wants to win he's easily one of the most entertaining players to watch in Marvel.

I really enjoyed playing Divekick at PAX East this year, I don't know whether it holds up as a 'spectator sport' or can bring new blood in but that game is legitimately fun to play and very fundamentals-based. Figuring out how to kick the other dude in the face is pretty satisfying and IMO people who prejudge it are missing out.

Divekick was fun as hell today. I took Jefailey to my pool's loser's finals but unfortunately he is terrible against a few characters, namely Dr. Shoals. The game is crazy match up dependent, we've had cycling groups of people chatting about matchups and gem choices all the past two days. I've yet to see anyone who played the game walk away hating it so far. Stream was confirmed broken by Keits when we were playing pools, but only that one guy was actually good enough with the character for it to matter. His hitboxes will be fixed Monday.
