not that it matters because I'm an idiot but 1/2 serious. While you can obviously wear a sock on either foot if you look at Warrior's socks on the Home and Away, they clearly intend to have a left sock to be worn on the left and right for the right and I'm guessing that's how the team will wear these.

Athletic wear made for professional athletes is definitely going to have an L-R distinction between the socks. It doesn't matter if it actually does anything or if there are any differences.

Yeah, I've seen the Nike athletic socks for running that have padded areas for the foot and are shaped to mold to each foot so they have L/R.
