All the Attack on Titan Fullmetal Alchemist cosplay is funny to me because it's all done by Asian people and there has rarely been a Japanese show that wen't so far to make sure you know all the characters are 100% white Germanic people (every character is named like the evil scientist in a Captain America comic). It's the opposite of pasty white dudes cosplaying as characters that are definitely supposed to be Asian.

How do they make metal breastpieces like that? It would have to be sized perfectly with some inner lining to function or it would be torture.

I read about the guy who made metal armor chestpieces and reluctantly made a boob plate armor for some girl who wanted one but told her she's likely to crack her sternum if she falls on it or gets hit hard enough. It's made the same just shaped weirdly and completely non functional.

Bra and sheet metal and a pop rivet gun.

It's pretty easy, and very lightweight.

REAL armor (i.e. steel) is completely different and will cause you all sorts of hell trying to get it looking right. Sheet metal you just hammer down, fold over, sand off the sharp parts, drill a hole, and pop rivet it. The most expensive part of it will either be the bra if you go name brand, or the tin snips to cut the sheet metal.

I have to remind myself about once a year that it would be stupid to shell out a bunch of money for breast augmentation just to be able to do more costumes. I have no real desire for bigger boobs in my daily life, but golly would they help make some outfits.

Victoria's Secret bombshell bra + maybe some socks is what I ended up with, much cheaper.

I gotta say, out of all the iron man armors I have seen, that one looks like it'd be the most comfortable to be tackled in.

I actually think I would have liked it if the iron man suits looked a little bulkier like that. In the movie they sometimes felt like there wasn't really enough room inside for Robert Downey also also electronics.

I have one, the Power Ranger collector community was all in a tizzy trying to get their hands on one because they launched with a very limited run initially with a proper run several months later. Right now, this is what you want to get:

SDCC 2013 exclusive. Only 1000 made.

If you need more convincing: It's show accurate, comes with a belt clip and all 5 (metal) coins, and if you hold down the button it plays the opening theme from the show. :ssh:

man what

I (badly) cosplayed Jacket from Hotline Miami at OzComicCon Melbourne. Most of my pictures are terrible and of me with other people, so here's just the two I like best:

I felt like I was pretty lucky to find this Helmet cosplayer. He said he honestly didn't expect a Jacket to show up. It's also pretty obvious he put more effort in his costume than me. He's actually got a fake cleaver in his hand, and three plastic knives around somewhere.

This old guy was pretty awesome. He was also helping run a fake weapons shop called 'Armoured Heaven'.

Most of the rest of my time was spent standing still so people could take pictures of me (walking around a con with the mask on is almost impossible), and rapidly pulling the mask on to photobomb behind other cosplayers (the Teletubbies and group of Disney girls were fun to do this with). One mother told me that her very young son had asked what character I was. I just sheepishly told her it was not appropriate for his age.
