A weasel wearing a radio collar, which makes me wonder about what sort of information they'd get from something that basically never stops vibrating, and how you put a collar on something that doesnt appear to have any variations in width.

I love capys. They are the cutest, they are the best, they are wonderful and so is BattleMaster and if you disagree then you're wrong. However, if it severely prevents people from being uplifted in here, then I also wouldn't mind a separate thread. Capybara neck scratching - So chill. I could watch this for hours: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVZnyE_r48c Capy fence biting. Love, looove the little clicking noise the oh so greedy tongue makes. There are not enough :3 for this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWTHWSfNfbk (Sorry, there are some titles in this vid.) Pug appreciation:

So a while ago a Cheerios ad got a whole bunch of people mad because it depicted a mixed-race family. This isn't the thread to discuss those people and why they are wrong, instead have this Fine Bros. video where they show the ad to a bunch of very young kids and ask them if they see anything wrong with it. The kids are varying degrees of and uplifting in their responses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VifdBFp5pnw

I hate to be a downer, but part of me is wondering if it had rabies. Being that "chill" around humans isn't normal for a skunk. I don't know where you found those picture and that story, but if you know them personally, I would ask them if the skunk scratched or bit them in any way. If they say yes, tell them to get rabies shots.

Also, that boy Shannon is awesome: "How do they get angry over... but... what?"

The skunk in those pictures is a juvenile and its evening or morning time which is a normal time for them to be wandering around. It probably just left/got kicked out by its mother and was looking for food. Young ones will follow anyone they think has food. If you raise one from a baby they will follow you around for the rest of their lives

Bad Sneakers posted:I thought cat saliva could really mess birds up. Or does that not affect ducks for some reason? EDIT: Fact-checking! EDIT2: Apparently it is only really dangerous if it enters the bloodstream. So the cat actually biting the bird and puncturing the skin is potentially lethal, but licking should not be an issue, though it should be avoided. Today Sunny the Fawn decided he wanted to help me check my bluebird boxes. So he, and his best friend Harriet the wire-haired terrier, followed me and my tech around for about half an hour. Sunny and my Tech. It was really hot today so I cut up a water bottle and gave Sunny and Harriet some water. Harriet is a good dog. Even though she's been both hit by a truck and kicked in the face by a horse. We're friends.

I was really worried that once the story was revealed that the black kids would be upset, but they were just as surprised by the racism the video had incurred. They've never felt singled out for who they are, and none of the kids even noticed the colour of the parents skin. That's the kind of world I want to live in.

Skunks are surprisingly overconfident when they're young, because they're like "well if anything fucks with me I'll just spray it in the face". Just hopefully it doesn't wander back around where people are. No wonder it was following around that guy though, he constantly smells like dead animals because he's a taxidermist. Sure skunks love that. Unrelated cute, hamster cooling down in summer:

Dwarf hamsters are funny looking. Mine also savaged anything that came near them. Only way you could get them out of the cage to clean it out was to lower your hand in (preferably in a gardening glove) and wait for them to latch on.
