I'm not sure I ever needed to see that in a comic.

Bought this when I was a kid and it is probably my favourite comic I own. Oh Alpha Flight...

Doom managed to throw the cup so hard that the guy flipped upside down. And made the table evaporate.

I just realized that Doom is actually drinking through his mask. I would think that it would be easier to use a straw if there is a mask between the cup and your mouth, but then that is probably how Doom rolls.

This is a man who doesn't use doors do you really think he's going to use something as pedestrian as a straw? Okay maybe if it was powered by the cosmic cube he might, but only then.

How you going to drink that, Vader? It's a nice touch though, the original Star Wars adaptation has some fun stuff. Like Jabba the Hutt before he had an actual character design.

That isn't a cup Doom is using. That's a chalice, a gem encrusted chalice. Cups are for lesser beings.

More interesting than the cyber-straw is the "Robot Hillbilly Teeth" version of Doom's mask.

He built the straw into the cup. That is all kinds of amazing.

What's the current canon on the status of Doctor Doom's face, anyway? Is he Kirby style single, tiny, scar, or is he actually horribly scarred, or did his tiny scar get turned into horrible burns when he welded a mask to his face? I need to know.

I think it's the last one, according to a recent Fantastic Four.

I saw this ad in the issue of Superman's pal Jimmy Olsen 108, and it made me laugh because apparently comics in the 60's were getting kids ready for a full scale revolution.

When I was a kid I had a bright orange Uzi water pistol that made those brap-brap-brap noises. Always wondered what the mechanism was, I never smashed it apart to find out.

In the 80's I had the Rambo fully automatic M-16 squirt gun. You filled up the magazine with water, held in the tirgger and won every water fight!

I've always loved that original, Kirby idea of him just having this really tiny, barely noticable scar. It fits the character so well. Never liked the semi-retcon of him burning his face when he first put on the mask.
