I can't seem to preload using my usual Australian connection - unless the option is somewhere I'm missing. Should I be able to, or does it require to use of a VPN or whatever?

I don't think the censored version is ready yet. Steam says that the Aussie version is coming out next month, not this week.

Well then, Spotflux just started working properly and I actually got into the US Steam store using it. I was really hoping I could sleep until 10 or 11 pm, but I'm posting this so obviously I couldn't. And I even worked a night shift and stayed awake until 2pm today. At least I have tonight and tomorrow night off.

I'm in New Zealand, where we've got the August 23rd release date, but since I purchased a key from GreenManGaming it seems like it'll unlock tonight. Halfway through the pre-load already. Is it fairly safe to say that if you've got the pre-load going without a VPN, it'll unlock when it's released in the US?

ugh. 3 hours and twenty minutes now. i've been catching up on breaking bad. (halway through season 4). So I've got 3 episodes more to watch. It's kinda making the wait go by easier, but it's still fairly agonizing. my best wishes to the aussie goons.

So I don't generally buy games in advance and deal with preloads so I have a dumb question. The preload downloaded to my C drive with no prompt. I have a steam install directory there, and also on my D drive. I had wanted to install the game on D. Will the preload just install itself to C, or will it give the usual install prompt with the dropdown for directory selection? Either way, I'm pretty pumped.

I am a big idiot who used the wrong words. I already have the preload sitting on C. What I mean was when it unlocks, does the usual install options thing come up? And then I can tell it to install elsewhere?
