I never get tired of King Omaha having random cameos in manga.

Keeps track of every series, automatically tells you when new chapters are updated and tweaks the readers into showing all the pages in the same window.

I use https://www.myanimelist.net. Alternately/additionally, a lot of reader sites will do it for you if you create an account. Kissmanga is the best because it's the only one I know of that loads all the images on one page. You can check a box to get an email everytime there's a new chapter of something you've bookmarked.

I typically use All Mangas reader, but it has its issues especially if it crashes and you lose your manga list. Any manga reader site with account bookmarks works fine just as well though, like Kissmanga. Mangaupdates.com is actually pretty useful to know about the various scanlation groups working on manga, and will list everything since it's not a manga reader site, so it's nice to have a reading list on.

It's much easier nowadays since I only read probably 15 titles.

Can Of Worms posted:This, except I only check Kissmanga. I don't usually keep track of where I am; if it was interesting enough to keep reading I'll just find a familiar point in the story and go from there. I only check mangafox because they find new updates faster sometimes. Actually being able to read them there is a whole other story thanks to the fact that they update any licensed series even though they won't actually let you see them.

A whole volume's worth of chapters for Again, starting from Chapter 53. Man, I feel like I've seen protagonist baseball teams lose more than actually getting a win in shonen, and they never go to Koshien.

I know this is kind of a silly question, but has Again changed or gotten better in these later chapters? I dropped it around the time they introduced the rival midget ouendan leader. I thought the concept for the series was pretty great but did not care about the ouendan stuff at all.

I thought the concept for the series was pretty great but did not care about the ouendan stuff at all. I think this is the end of the rival/ouedan arc, and we're back to more general time travel shenanigans after this. The whole cheering concept isn't going to go away, though, I don't think: it's kind of a theme with Kubo Mitsurou. And this volume made it totally awesome so shut up.

I thought the concept for the series was pretty great but did not care about the ouendan stuff at all. [General raw spoilers] After the baseball game, the organized ouendan stuff drops off a lot. Volume 7 is one long game of "gently caress yeah, Shibata!" / "Oh, no, Shibata!" , and volume 8 sees the gang helping out the Drama Club. Hiro also gets a much bigger role (as a tremendous dick), and, for the first time in my knowledge, a Japanese mangaka makes an artistic reference to Little Orphan Annie.

I still want the rest of Negima. If this answers a bunch of questions from that, then I will be able to die in peace.

Probably not the best choice of smilie there, given Negima. But my body is also ready. Negima turned into a great action series pretty quickly and only got better toward the end, and since this appears to be more focused on being a battle series, so much the better. I kind of wish it wasn't a male protagonist again though, but who cares as long as he continues to write main protagonists who don't suck, which is rare nowadays, and he's pretty good at making likable side characters that show up a lot, too. Now the next series by the person who make Binbougami-ga needs to come out and I'll be a happy guy. chumbler fucked around with this message at 23:16 on Aug 21, 2013 |

The emoticon was the joke . But yea, the easiest way for this to be better than Negima is it having less of a focus on fanservice. I hope we at least hear about characters like Rakan, Negi, and Eva in passing, even if all it is is a story of their adventures or something. This is gonna be a long week...

So a new Jump Manga pop'd up. Hime Doll: a comedy about a Media High School (?) the main character being a hairdresser in the making who's coerced into helping the local Yankee Queen in her dream of becoming an Idol against her father (Who's some sort of Ex-Yakuza Gym Meathead) wishes. It looks interesting and might do something with the formula but I'm just dreading the moment it gets Medaka'd because it can only have battles as a secondary concern Because, goddamnit, if the police girl manga can get shitcanned (albeit with a reinstation) what is safe these days?.
