I think the lyrics on TDS get pretty close to being good but they're definitely in the angsty/awkward territory. the production just makes up for it. i think he's a really talented producer/musician/whatever and his voice is even pretty good but man those lyrics honestly though there are very few contemporary artists who don't write poo poo lyrics.

huh this "pisces iscariot" thing is v. nice. modest and un-irritating like gish but with pretty production like siamese dream. of course since the songs are all b-sides nothing really stands out ("starla" would if anything actually happened in its autopilot ending jam) but they're diverse and pleasant and it's nice to hear billy corgan lay off the whining and tantrums for a change 6/10 would listen again
