He's been showing it off on his tumblr. When he first got started on the dungeon generation it took something like 2-4 seconds to generate, freezing the browser for that time.

So he worked on it to make it take about half a second. Last he said, at least.

There, I rehosted it as a guest where nobody can spontaneously edit it. Just use this link instead of the other one if you really want to run it I guess. I don't recommend it because Java is still sketchy and stuff, but again, if it doesn't have any malicious code in it then

edit: I think someone should probably actually confirm if it is malicious or not somehow. The reports so far are that it's not but you know how the internet is.

I am not familiar with JavaScript, or code, at all. Where exactly do I paste this?

I still think time machines should be a percent boost to keep endgame viable. After all, it's supposed to be retrieving cookies you've made before they were eaten.

I don't feel like doing math right now but wouldn't that be an exponential increase that could break the game?

Does this game use some kind of big integer math? Because it seems like you could soon overflow a javascript 52 bit integer with delicious cookies.

Edit: I guess js uses a mantissa but I want accountability for each and every cookie.

I've got 37 quadrillion cookies waiting to be reset, but I can't bring myself to quite yet. Just a few more and I'll have even more chips to play with. Just a little bit more chips.

I may have a problem.

How do you play the game without ever clicking the cookie when you start at 0 cookies with 0cps?

You wait for golden cookies, after a couple of Lucky ones (+13 cookies at 0 cps) you can buy a cursor.

Then you only buy buildings and never click the cookie. But this is WRONG; I suggest you only do that as an unethical experiment then go back to clicking furiously.

Make sure to wait for a golden cookie to appear before you reset. Waiting for one is grueling at the beginning and you can speed things up this way.

Also, if you close the browser after resetting and clicking the golden cookie, you can still retain your pre-reset state. The game doesn't actually save when you reset.

Let's go explorin' little dude!
The other way is to have a lot of cookies on hand and reset then quickly click a building before all your cookies disappear. Best effect is doing it after selling all your buildings.

Man, there's nothing like clicking a golden/red cookie and seeing "Clicking frenzy!" pop up and then going "poo poo, gently caress" as you clumsily sling your cursor over towards the cookie to madly hammer on it for precious cookies.

I only have to appease the matriarchs a few more times + buy the elder covenant to have all the non-shadow achievements. Then what should I do? Sell it again to get my cookies back? And then what? Sell/buy everything and then reset? And then what?

Edit: wait, I won't get all the achievements, I only have 97 portals and 66 time machines. Would it be faster to reset and use, um, whatever thing you get from resetting(?) to get to 100 time machines? Or should I just keep going?

I got every achievement then reset and got the shadow achievements (sans cheating) and am accruing cookies till dungeons or whatever.

It's all pretty chill in Cookieverse-Chakan. Everyone's just eating cookies and relaxing till they start their shift at their place of cookie-work. There are some pictures of me sitting atop a cookie throne eating a snickerdoodle with some chocolate milk (which is fashionably classy in my cookieverse.)

It's additive, not multiplicative. So basically all you're doing is cancelling out one of the +5% cps upgrades. It's not a big deal.

Nope, the -5% is actually multiplicative. It straight up multiplies your multiplier by 0.95.

Example: If you had just one of the +5% Cookie upgrades, your multiplier would be 105%. With Elder Covenant, it becomes 99.75%, not 100%.

Just...buy the Elder Pledge. It caps out at a little over 500 billion and that should be chump change by the time you get there anyway.

Wait, so all the bonuses are additive but the Elder Pledge is multiplicative? That doesn't make sense.

All the bonuses are additive except for the Kitten upgrades, the Frenzies (and Clot), and the Elder Covenant. Those are multiplicative.
