my moms side of the family hoards poo poo but its going to be a good ten years before anyone kicks the bucket and none of their crap is even tangentially worth anything. old board games, cheap 80s and 90s toys, clothes that were out of style thirty years ago, no electronics or good books. whole Lotta jewelry and clocks, some old cookbooks, mostly garage sale knickknacks that are only decorative and ugly as piss. I know a lot of that stuff sounds hella rad but none of it is high quality. they were all garbage when they were new and especially garbage now that they've seen decades of decay my dad hoards stuff too but it's useful stuff like respectable furniture and booze and nonperishable foods and electronics he steals from work.

my grandpa hoarded antique tools and now he sells them and makes dosh. also has a mid 70s Chevy c/k in perfect condition he broke his spine 2 years ago by falling off a ladder. he's fine now. and 70 a cool rear end grandpa

I had a housemate who hoarded digitally so you couldn't really tell he was a hoarder (though he didn't keep his room tidy) I think he had 200 gigs of Britney Spears videos though.
