I was really tickled by Jake's cooking, because he does a lot of the cookspergy stuff I've been delving into lately: Cooking a steak sous vide style with rosemary and thyme at 135°F, putting the steak in a ziploc bag and sucking the air out so the meat gets maximum temperature transfer from the hot water, toasting bread with a blow torch (I could nitpick these things but whatever) Also, Jake putting on classical music while murdering a bird reminded me too much of this other excellent series https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fz2G2K_R8L4

But when you google Bravest Heroes, as you do when you're not sure if someone's made a mistake or not, the only thing that comes up is Bravest Warriors, so I guess google knows the intentions. The Vault has great potential. I really dig the delicate balance of backstory vs fun episodes, Penn Ward et al have really nailed that on the head.

On a different note, Tom Kenny does great voice work for Magic Man; He sounds so different from his other characters, you wouldn't guess it was him.

Tom Kenny, plus one layer of used car salesman. Boom. Magic Man. I think his most impressive role is and always will be Heifer from "Rocko's Modern Life" and/or Bufo, the "wizard". Those roles sound so bizarrely divorced from the rest of the voices that he does.
