I liked Liverani's "thanks for maybe keeping me employed" celebration when Antonini ran to the sideline.

He's got the perfect positioning of Inzaghi; he appears out of nowhere, completely unmarked and he's got great finishing. He's going to be a bigger deal than Higuain imo.

Nice goal from Calaió there. Genoa look nothing like they have for the past two matches.

Those repeater flares that the Samp fans have are cool, but I can't imagine sitting anywhere near them. It must be hard to breathe in either curva right now.

11 - Francesco Lodi has scored 11 free-kick goals since Jan 2011, at least 5 more than any other player. Marksman. #sampdoriagenoa

"No one is hungrier than us"

Edit: Kaka will be out at least a month. But he's in shape like 2003.

No mocking for Ricky, who I hope will recover fast, all the mocking for who bought it and vaunted it as the top purchase of the transfer market.

Edit2: Kaka announced he'll self-suspend his payslip until he's back :unsmith:

Kaką is out for at least month, I imagine in his condition it will be more. Allegri is probably going to try to shove Birsa, a winger, in to a trequartista role which will never work. Awesome.

Birsa and Zaccardo were literally bought to get rid of Mesbah and Antonini. They weren't ever supposed to actually play :negative:

Antonini, by the way, scoring the first relevant goal of his career last night :suicide:

Official - 6 weeks off for Gomez, 3 weeks for Cuadrado (but he might be playing before recovering as it's the shoulder). Considering, quite better than what was feared.

I think Gomez might be back just in time for the Milan match?

Parma has a particularly old lineup out there against Roma, I had read somewhere recently that Juve had the oldest roster in the league, but Parma must surely be 2nd.

Yep, and he's looked good. Biabiany is giving Balzaretti a lot of trouble down the right side. Totti had some long shots that tested Mirante, but Parma have done a good job of closing down on Roma's midfield before they're getting the ball to the forwards, Ljajic and Florenzi haven't done anything.

Brilliant Totti goal, beat the offside trap, had a great first touch to control the entry pass from Strootman, and then sent Mirante the wrong way.

Big Gerv won a penalty after beating Cassani, and Strootman with a real man's penalty take into the roof of the net.

Really nice comeback win from Roma, this is the sort of game where they would've poo poo the bed last year.
