Izzy's doing God's work. "...And Zombies" books are best used as monster chow.

That might be the best character introduction I've ever seen.

Oh god, I thought she just controlled paper but these things are "alive"!? I wonder what the horse's name is? Also, I haven't seen one of those paper fortune tellers since middle school. So many memories .

Nah, I think it's just Eightfold that's alive. Everything else is just controlled paper. Although the horse could have been Eightfold in another form, for all we know. Doubt it though, there were no eyes.

Though it's sort of great just because Pride and Prejudice is a great story. The zombie parts seem kind of tacked on, but deliberately so, so that you really get to appreciate how good the original work was. I'd never have read Pride and prejudice if someone hasn't got me the "...and Zombies" version as a gift, so the author definitely succeeded in his intent. Turning Elizabeth's friend into a zombie is also a nice little bit of satire on how she just kinda drops out of the story in the original once she gets married, it has a few nice little moments like that.

I wonder if eightfold looks the same in vision form, or if she's just restricted to manifesting via her powers and does a close approximation.

Good thing Eightfold only ever goes back into her book. Imagine the damage she could do if she went into some device connected to the Internet... On second thought, it could be harnessed for good, if she agreed to only eat Youtube comments.

So considering these two comics, we can safely assume Spender's power is light manipulation, right? It makes sense for a Sunglasses tool, too. http://paranatural.net/chapter-3-page-50/ http://paranatural.net/chapter-4-page-26/
