I think it's a Ysengrin-administered crash course in "not being weak". Personally I doubt that Ysengrin meant for Annie to run off on her own while in Fun City, probably for precisely the reasons we're seeing right now: crazy technicolor lying bug-wasp things.

The cool thing about wasps is that there are parasitic wasps that parasite upon parasitic wasps.
