I can't wait for the iOS7 version. I don't know how possible it is or if its already in the beta, but a pseudo-fullscreen like Safari has would be neat in this.

Does iFunBox somehow handle unsigned .ipas? Like apps not from the App Store? It just looks like a file manager but maybe I'm missing something.

I don't know, I was going to try and see. If I horribly screw something up, I'll restore, no biggie. Xcode is only for Macs? I guess being on Windows I'm out of luck.

Yes, xcode is mac only. You also either need a developer account or a jailbroken device to get the app running.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but I've lost the ability to swipe in the bookmark bar from the left on my iPad after updating to iOS 7. It's not a big deal because I can tap the icon in the top left, but I did like being able to swipe it into view.

Maybe it's a memory thing, but multitasking is nearly impossible on my 4S with ios7. Every time I switch to a different app and back Awful resets to the landing screen, and the remainder of the posts on the page are marked as read.

Same here, it seems like awful has a really low priority or something; I'm seeing it close when looking at a single safari tab.

Well for the ios7 version of the app pokeyman is using new functions to save the app state so this should hopefully be an outdated problem.

So I don't know if you're really going to update the current awful anymore, but I found a bug. On iOS 7, ipad 4th gen. I can no longer swipe right to get the sidebar. I have to push the button in the top left corner.

You have to have no ads purchased on the actual forums to have them removed from the app.

There's also the option to enable ads again if you have no-ads purchased, so make sure that's not on (in your options on the actual forums, not the app)

I found a minor leper colony display quirk I think. When you tap or tap and hold on an LC entry with a long probate/ban reason, as it highlights the box changes size to cut some lines off. I had a whole post typed up about the light/dark theme toggle switch behaving erratically, like randomly taking several seconds to respond but I have a bigger issue (that you probably just got the crash report for) to report: it ate the post and crashed to home! One image to be uploaded from the library. Let me know if I can paste anything useful from console. v v

This beta feels really weird after using Awful 2 for the past few weeks. So far so good though. Edit: I actually thought this was the Awful 2 development thread. To be clear for anyone who isn't following it, I was building Awful 2 from source. It's definitely not ready yet.
