Of course the gauges go on the hood, after sticking all that poo poo on the back, how could they just leave the front bare? I know that's why you posted it but seriously what the gently caress is that tumor even supposed to be/do? You can see the corner of the normal engine lid sitting under it in this picture. The snorkel on the MR2 is only functional if it's mounted on the left hand side of the car.

It's only functional on the nonturbo engine, but that's never stopped a ricer.

I personally think the 88 GTs are the best looking Fieros and IIRC there was some upgrades to the rear? suspension in 88 that makes them better than previous models. It kind of sucks, just when they started to get the car sorted out and power levels started recovering in engines they canceled the thing.

On the Fiero someone must have really wanted it. The RHD conversion looks pretty good too. It would have needed to be certified as well. Really I think it's both "gold" and gold.

That's what I had heard as well, but wasn't sure if it was 88 in particular. Thanks. And yeah, the last GT design looks killer. I really liked what they did with the taillights. edit So everyone probably knows that El Caminos command an unusually large amount, compared to the other G-bodies (not including the GN and H/O), but I've been running into a few ridiculous prices lately. http://sanmarcos.craigslist.org/cto/4041276833.html Like this Caballero, which has been repainted and wasn't even cleaned very well. Jakcson posted:It was looking good until it said "All original. No modifications." That's typically not what "No modifications" means. It usually means that they have all OEM equipment and not mods like a fart can or changed out the intake. If the muffler went 4 years ago, they replaced it with a like muffler etc.

I had a 91 SE-R and regret selling it since it had no rust. They are definitely fun little cars with the SR20, 5 speed, and limited slip. The brakes are good as well. They are no Intrega Type-R in terms of raw abilities, but are better than a lot of other FWD stuff. They like to rust around the bottom rockers/sills. Plus I like how they look.
