This seems a bit cliché, but I dig it anyway. I really can't decide about that branch, either.

vote_no posted:This seems a bit cliché, but I dig it anyway. Single point perspective wharf shots are indeed rather cliche, but FINALLY! A picture which doesnt have perspective distortion, (Making the closest point of the wharf look crooked, even if the end of it is level with the page) because you took the time to make sure the shot was centred. Nicely done... Branch is fine by me, I always think any foreground items which help 'anchor' the viewer into the scene are a welcome addition. But I would say that, as I love wide angle lenses possibly too much. In other news, here's some generic scenery. I bought another Samyang 35mm F1.4, I missed my last one too much!

Boulder isn't rural though, it's only a few miles outside Denver and is a huge hub for modern day hippies. Other than that though you're right.. I guarantee sleeping in the passenger seat of your car is a better rest than enduring an average podunk motel.

The Clown Motel beds were fine, the room didn't smell bad, I had a clown protecting me, and I preferred the air-conditioned room to sleeping in my car or a tent in August in Nevada

I guarantee there's at least a hundred deaths a year within 20 miles of that motel because drivers decided waiting for the next town was a better option than sleeping under the watch of those clowns.
