My friends and I just started playing this today, I'm behind and going cookie crazy. Whats the best way to get my Cookie Production high fast? Just keep upgrading to the next thing in the store? So torn between not wanting spoliers and wanting to crush my Cookie Competitors

I tried imagining that cookie clicker was a lot like that scene in Harry Potter 6 where Harry has to force Dumbledore to drink the potion. "No! I don't want to!" "Just one more time, professor! You only have to do it one more time and it will all go away." "Just one more time?" "One more time..." Clicks cookie. "NOOOOO! NOOOOOOO! MAKE IT STOP!!!"

But everything will give you a certain cost to cps ratio that you can bother to figure out with some simple division, or just google the Cookie Monster plugin and it will color code which thing is the most efficient, and give you a timer on when your next golden cookie will pop up. Cookie Monster isn't very good at telling you what upgrades to get though, it only cares about the cost/cps ratio and doesn't factor in time. Unrelated question: is using Mouse Keys cheating?

Keep buying the researched upgrades and you can reverse it eventually. EDIT: Red cookies are still worth clicking on average, the good outcomes are rare but they're very good.

Chip the Girl Scout has made it all the way to lvl 86 on her own! Probably because she's stupidly overpowered and the lvl bosses got a huge nerf. Wonder where she'll be when I wake up in the morning...

Oh no, 3200 chips in: you're never done. But with that many Heavenly Chips, it only takes a few minutes to get back to Antimatter Condensers after resetting. For the planned HC rework, I envision something like a Celestial Convenience Cookie Groceria, where you can buy an assortment of Cps increasing upgrades with your banked Heavenly Chips. The next tier. That'd be so cool.

^^^The warnings that appear only really factor in if you're clicking on golden cookies, which you should be. Try and keep enough cookies banked to match the "Lucky!" Cookies Required (Frenzy): value once you buy the Get Lucky upgrade. Before that, it doesn't matter as much. That's clearly a waffle, not a cookie  .
