Here's something I remember fondly, Beto Carranza, playing for Universitario de Deportes in Peru, against Union Minas, a team that played in Cerro de Pasco, a city at 4,300 meters above sea level. Beto Carranza had to be transported to the hospital immediately after because as you could imagine, his lungs were a bit overworked.
