Just came across this one-off gem I haven't seen in awhile. http://achewood.com/index.php?date=02112008 Ray and Connie could have a great act. Also featured in panel 3: Ray's amazing Captain Obvious conversational prowess.

With no ashtray, Ray drunkenly used the outlet to hold his cig since he was laying on the ground at that time anyway. Also, 2 strips from the Ray and Connie strip was one of my all time favorites that was probably posted like 2 pages ago. http://achewood.com/index.php?date=02142008 Onstad does funny arguments so loving well, and yelling matches between his characters are pretty much always golden.

I had a dream one night that stuck with me, and it involved eating someone's head like it was an apple. I had no idea what could have inspired something like that. Years later, I go through the Achewood archive again and suddenly realize where the inspiration came from.

There was a Jack Handy quote on SNL years before Achewood. As I bit into the nectarine, it had a crisp juiciness about it that was very pleasurable - until I realized it wasn't a nectarine at all, but A HUMAN HEAD!
