Just think of this as a new phase of Howards life. The old show is over, and he's transitioning to the elder statesman that he always wanted to be. If he's even on for one day a week after his contract expires I'll be happy because 1 day is better than no days.

It may seem like that but really he mentioned often that he wanted to do a game show and be an elder statesman. The cats things is ridiculous though.

He always wanted to be a game show host because it was a cushy job. He never wanted to be Bob Barker or Alex Trebek - he wanted to be Howie Mandel or Simon Cowell. Him joining AGT was the reason I stopped watching, I knew he did it because he was greedy. It was the antithesis of everything he made fun of only a few short years prior. Sad, man, sad.

You have to grow up a little, and at 60 maybe it is time he try something other than pretending to be the rebel rebel. He won the war, let him be a crazy vet petting his cats and making millions of dollars having play fights with washed up C listers while children sing and dogs do tricks. Howard can't have a cushy job, he can only complain about not having one and making his own life a living hell and over complicating things in his messed up mind.

Meanwhile, Gilbert was on The Artie Lange Show last night for the third time this year where the two completely bust each other up with completely outdated references (which, to me, was one of the things that made Gilbert appearances on THSS enjoyable).

Even better than when Sly Stallone's parents would fight with each other. My favorite bit is when Roseanne accused Tom of stealing $2 million in cash she kept in a shoe box. Oh and that Tom beat her (which is funny because Roseanne also hired some "studio goons" to rough up Tom). How fuckin' big are those shoes that you can fit $2 million in cash in the box? edit: Do yourself a favor and listen to all three of these clips https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Pv3LDTBDKw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqC7t3lEdio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V71K52fmdVQ haljordan fucked around with this message at 16:36 on Oct 18, 2013 |

He doesn't like sharing a bus with his band. (source: his chef. He has a chef. No, it's not the band's chef. The shitstain from Nickelback has his own tour bus?! Great, now God has to send two meteors to wipe that awful band off the face of the earth. That time they got booed off the stage during halftime of that one Lions game was pretty great though. edit: Really? quote:For writing and demoing purposes, Kroeger has a recording setup in his home away from home: the bus in which he travels when Nickelback hit the road. Each of the band members has his own bus, and in Kroeger's case the middle section of his vehicle houses a Pro Tools rig, which he has only recently come to appreciate for its ease of use. haljordan fucked around with this message at 20:55 on Oct 18, 2013 |

I moves to my left. Does anyone remember when Howard.first played that? I think it was when he was playing bits from Sal and Richard that didn't make it. It was about the blind and black mayor. Howard rejected it because it was too racist and Artie was cracking up about how absurd it was. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
