I think some of their Il-76's may still have them in place as well, it just seems like a ridiculous throwback in this day and age. It seems that multicam and those funny lil' helmets are compulsory for special forces regardless of nationality. Big propaganda win for al-shabab I guess. But kudos to the french for having the balls to attempt the rescue. never leave a man behind...
