Hmm, so something I was not aware of: http://www.serebii.net/xy/wilditems.shtml You can find items, including some of the BP items from the Battle Maison, in the wild after using certain moves. I myself found a White Herb after a trainer battle while playing through the game, although I didn't know at the time what had triggered it. You can also get various berries that the game does not give you. And if you wanted to get extra, er, NeverMeltIces, I guess you can do that, too.
