gently caress the Elegy haters, I love my baby.  When fully modded up they really fly and still take corners really well. Also since I'm not doing any glitches it's the poor mans good car.

I'm not poor (relatively speaking) but yeah after actually upgrading my elegy with all the engine/turbo upgrades, (still no chrome  ) it is a beastly little thing for a free car.It's bars end up going a decent chunk past what you are able to view, and its fairly mod-able. I just don't like having too many 2-seaters though and i actually can't sell the elegy so I have no idea how to get rid of it anyway. I know this was bugged before but it seems to work properly now.

I haven't run into many problems in races - basically any time customs are on and I use my Carbonizzare, I don't lose. And I'm not even that good at racing so it's pretty much the car as opposed to my complete lack of skill.

I felt pretty scummy tonight with Gay 4 Pay. We were pretty much posted outside of the insurance company waiting for people to respawn their cars. I torched about 3 of them using the exhaust trick before I didn't see anymore and then logged off for the night.

Edit: FWIW the southernsanandreassuperautos.com site says the Lampadati Felon will hold 4 passengers but the Felon GT only holds 2. I don't know if that's true. What's with radar blips in dm, tdm and lts? Is there a way to not show up on peoples radars? Seems silly that people can just walk to me and shoot me. Does sneeking make me invis?

I'm pretty happy with my garage. It's full of vehicles that are good for just tearing around town in freeroam. The Sentinel XS is pretty amazing Coupe, though after the last bit of discussion, maybe I should check out the Super Diamond as well. Any other players inside the radius of that pulse will have you show up on their minimap for 5-10 seconds, then you'll fade out. Silencers help a lot with this by making the noise 'pulse' smaller. The other way to have your blip show up is if an enemy has direct line of sight to you. Your arrow on the minimap will light up red if an enemy can currently see you (but one of you is probably already dead if this is the case). Everyone's blip is always visible in LTS, though.

It helps to run 3 lap races where you get slightly faster each lap. Like on Criminal Records it's gotten down to a science where you go (on Super) 0:40 on Lap 1, 0:35 on Lap 2, and then 0:30 on Lap 3 and max out on RP for the race part. Turbo starts & Clean Laps help too.
