There has to be a 5 year gap inbetween teams as far as I understand it so the Red Red Sox Sox aren't working within the rules.

Here's a pre-liminary run-down of the Padres' 40 man roster for the Franchise Challenge. This is a terrible franchise and I'm so sorry to everybody. There is hardly 1 SL caliber starting pitcher in the entire feeder system and infield is a black hole. So far as I can tell, 33 year old Kevin Brown is the #1 starter for this franchise. Basically, Gwynn will play all 3 outfield spots and DH and 26 year-old Dave Winfield will play first. The choices for SS are Ozzie Smith or Tony Fernandez. The choices for 3rd are 35 year old Caminiti, 23 year old Sheffield or 25 year old Kevin Mitchell. There isn't a great 2nd baseman outside of baby Alomar but I ran into issues trying to force him onto the roster due to other constraints like feeder cost and trying to abide by the 3 year dead period for using identical players. I'm open to suggestions. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhcCZRJGKxiXdEtUVXk4MmVIazRpdmF0ZHZIcmJ5eUE&usp=sharing tadashi fucked around with this message at 23:35 on Nov 7, 2013 |

The deadline for the Franchise Challenge lineups to be set is: the day before Smasher starts the SL finals for this season. This should give everyone ample time to set their lineups as well as allowing me to edit in 40 players per roster. As far as custom fields are concerned, you can edit your dimensions but you can not alter the elevation or anything about the city from which your franchise hails. If you have multiple franchises or you have a franchise that has been in multiple cities, you can choose from those cities and fields. Just let me know in your post. Finally, thanks to all of you that have been putting your 40 man roster in a spreadsheet; This will make it easier for me to produce the roster. For the rest of you, if you wouldn't mind making a Google spreadsheet or making your own .csv if possible, that would be great. If you don't know how to do it, just make sure you have a post with your team years, all your players, and your proposed lineup/rotation, and I'll take care of it.
