I think Zlatan's goal should win it just because of the uniqueness of it. Kone's was an amazing volley that connected perfectly but I've seen them before. I did quite like the first one due to the hilarious turn at the start of it. Disappointed not to see a few more team goals in there though.

Also one of the women's goals was similarly just a nice long range effort, great goal but didn't really seem like it belonged I think my favourite of those was Oliveira's, got a bit of lovely team play as well as an incredible volley

Di Natale or Kone for me but if I had a gun to my head I'd say Di Natale. You could put me in that position 1000 times and I'd completely whiff the shot every single go, never-mind hit it and place it perfectly past the keeper. Brilliant.

Di Natale is absolutely brilliant and I hadn't seen it before, it's like those RVP volley goals but from a much, much tighter angle. But that's the kind of goal that crops up every now and then. A goal like Zlatan's may never, ever happen again, and that's why for me it should win the thing.

The cut-off date was October 1st of this year, which is why Ibra's goal for Sweden was in the running despite being scored in November 2012. Those three definitely need to be included in next year's running, though.

Peru's pretty good at producing talented players that lack professionalism. Reimond Manco is one of them. He did great in a youth WC, was bought by PSV to develop, but couldn't be bothered to put an ounce of effort to that marvelous opportunity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIcBJ8ufZhA After that he was bought by Atlante in Mexico, and after a while Manco decided to go out with his mates and showed up to practice drunk.
