If you really want insight into Jonathan's father you should watch the interview he did recently with Kevin pollack. It's kind of amazing. It explains all you need to know about the relationship between Seth, Jonathan, and his dad. He basically adopted a lost late twenties Hollywood actor for thanksgiving one year and it kind of just stuck. That's why Seth always makes such a point about Jonathan's dad's thanksgivings, I assume.

No poo poo. I'll check that out, man.

I'm just going from the start. Means I'm getting through the backlog quicker and the new eps will be waiting for me at the end :) Don't wanna get to the point where I can't just listen to 5 eps on the trot that I haven't heard when I've got some boring poo poo to do.

edit: Jah loving pillows to bodybuilders. Seth being unable to sweat and lacking fingerprints. loving goddamn filthy Florida. All this awaits you and more.

Start from the start, but if you find your enthusiasm flagging, this thread has recognized eps 120 to 130 as being an incredible run of classics.

Maybe the best live show so far, boys didn't sound nervous at all and crowd was pumped without being annoying. Loved that they reminded them to do the phone number.

Yeah 395 was a real primo ep.

When Seth explained his decision to just sit on the pavement outside the airport for 8 hours instead of going home, I was like, "yeah of course he did that."

Not at all! Being high may help, but I found the first two episodes bangers, I'm eager to listen to some more.

I'd like to check this out, what's the time stamp on it because I don't think I can sit through 2 hours of interview for a couple minutes of UYD related history.

Assuming this is what you're talking about?

Besides what everyone else has said about going through the old eps while maybe keeping up with the new ones, id recommend checking out some of the clips they filmed from Seth's apartment on YouTube. Being able to picture Seth's mannerisms and poo poo makes it even better.

I had no idea that Seth playing the part of a young John Larroquette in that pilot was completely a coincidence. That is insane. I just thought John got him the role.

Agreed. I enjoyed the bit where Seth jokes about other podcasts (Carolla, WTF, Pete Holmes), because I wasn't even sure they paid attention to any other podcasts.

Oh yeah, as a super podcast nerd (obviously), I totally loved that bit, was interesting to know that Seth is up on all that stuff. Should have known better than to doubt Seth's complete knowledge of all pop culture.

Have now gotten crazy excited about the idea of Seth and Jonathan doing a You Made It Weird (would obviously be a 3 hours+ one).

Has Pete ever done anything but one on one? I would love two 3 hour eps with the Umm Yes Guys, but Seth would probably kill Pete within ten minutes if he was alone with him.

Last post I'll make about it because I finally finished it, but not only does the This Year guy close out the '07 Best Of with the outro of episode 71 (whose song I've been trying to pinpoint for a while now) but has the Mike Madsen vs. Tom Sizemore debate as a post-credits stinger. So awesome.
