I guess i shoulda said it did not do the slow motion. That was how it was filmed (on an S4). But it is interesting it did slow motion and then ended with a regular speed video.

Does the S4 have done sorry it stabilization out us the ruling shutter just terrible on it? There's all sorts of spatial distortion in the normal speed shots on that video.

Just got off the phone with AT&T. I honestly complained a bunch in a survey, and they called and offered me a free Moto X if I renew my contract. My contract just turned over a couple months ago, so it's not a big loss to re-up.

I need some better clarification on this auto awesome video stuff- It edits in all of the cuts, fades, music, - everything? You just filmed a clip or two, and that was it? You didn't edit a whole video, and then Google merely added some filters and music?

It adds in music, fades, cuts, etc and moves things around. Sometimes, somehow, it manages to do things to the beat of the music. I do remember I had to edit one because a clip had a picture of my mom's bank information (don't know why she took a picture of that...). But it was easy to edit out.

Mine made a really cute video of my two year old doing a dinosaur walk in time with some 20's ragtime music. It's really genius or coincidental that it matched the music up with the cuts and his motion.

I like it so much I cancelled my N5 order and have no plans on getting anything until this thing starts to feel old in the tooth. This is the best phone I've had (albeit all I've had is every iPhone ever, then a S3 and S4).

You guys are probably sick of seeing Nexus 5 HDR On/off pics but here's a pair I just snapped outside before lunch that show what a dramatic difference it can make. HDR off:  HDR on:  Not that the second one looks like some amazing picture but it certainly made it viewable compared to the useless mess of the original photo.

I have a very specific case request for the htc one. I've just had it returned from its speaker repair and although it may not be the cause, the speakers were full of iron fillings before I sent it off and I'm trying to stop it happening again. I work with metal so they tend to get everywhere, is there some kind of case I can put it in for work that covers up the speakers, I'm thinking a waterproof one or something. I don't care how good or bad the case is since I don't really use my phone at work. I've searched and searched and found nothing that will work. It currently sits in a ziplock bag all day.

I have a friend that was a machinist that was always having to replace phones for that reason. I like Dr. rear end in a top hat's magnet solution. There's also dry paks, waterproof bags, more durable than a ziploc. $2 from fasttech or like $30 anywhere else.
