I feel like they're really a visual metaphor for my worldview. They're always reaching out, grasping, exploring. These hands mean a lot to me. It's a lot like a really good tattoo, I think, it's a kind of art of the self, you know? I'm just really excited that so many other people have adopted this lifestyle, it really makes me happy.

This avatar is less like a good tattoo, but it's still pretty funny, like some bad tattoos can be, so my comparison is still valid I think.

I can't speak for Archer but the VB one is a legitimate screencap and a word-for-word quote from the show.

The Bob's Burger reference in Archer is highly probable since both characters (i.e. Archer and Bob) are voiced by the same actor, H. John Benjamin.
