His wikipedia article suggests he was a bit of a football nomad, but there isn't really much about him. I googled him and came across this article. It seems to say that he was once a very promising young player, hence Inter beating other big clubs to his signature, but he suffered a serious injury before playing a game and sat out the entire season. I'm assuming he never really recovered from it, or maybe he just had a hot streak when he was young and was never that good to begin with, idk, a Spanish speaker might be able to find something in the article cos I just google translated it

Good post, Zanetti is a legend and one of those rare players that even across club rivalries you just can't hate him. Pure class.

Autists generally avoid social interaction, but just like the word "hipster" no one on SA uses the term correctly anymore. If anything the passage makes him sound like a clueless super-euro. Someone in leather shoes, a bubble jacket, and ridiculous sunglasses popping into a locker room and yelling wasssssupp in 2010 is loving hilarious to me. He could've been annoying as poo poo, but this just comes off as boring rear end Theo being rubbed the wrong way.

I'm kind of disappointed the kid at the start of that City advert didn't go "Woah, it's Vincent Kompany, Sergio Aguero and Gael Clichy!" and then Jimmy Milner just goes and throws himself into the Hudson.
