The sound test has voice clips of the characters calling out their evolved Personas. It probably was just never completed. I'll bet they'll be in for the next version.

Maybe persona evolutions is like that old anime thing of having a super ultimate form but only being able to use it certain times due to it being so powerful.

I just figured they wanted to market the game to as many people as possible, so they gave them the personas people were most likely to have seen.

They did it to show how the P3 characters are more mature than the P4 characters or something like that. Honestly it didn't bug me that much, I just chalked it up to ArcSys wanting another way to distinguish the P3 characters from the P4 ones.

Plus the original personas have less fiddly and busy designs so that they read better in a fast paced action game.

Jin Yamanoi (Japanese voice of Philemon) is still alive. Just bring him back to bestow the power of persona and then have the velvet room be staffed by Elizabeth and Margaret. In theory they could just re use his voice clips forever. "Welcome to the Velvet Room" and "You have been a most marvelous guest" are pretty much the only sound files they need, seeing as they never fully voice the game anyways.

Pity he sucks, but still, he had cool moves like Spectra Force and Eternal White.

While it would be nice to have the Persona 3/4 story over with, I think the sendoff does deserve to be an actual RPG instead of having everything answered in a fighting game.

Well, Adachi kind of was a Shadow Yuu of sorts thematically, wasn't he? Especially when you consider his Persona. Incidentally I hope Shadow Yuu also gets Magatsu Izanagi

Adachi's really nothing like Yu though? I mean his Persona is the same, but that was established to be because of an outside factor, not due to any real similarity. Then again, I guess the point of Adachi and the MC getting the Fool is that they are both effectively blank slates who have yet to evolve as people.
