There are two things in this world that I love with all my soul: animals doing people stuff and buildings/houses that look like faces. Whether or not it is impressive doesn't make it less cute Beagle named Elvis trained to identify pregnant polar bears by smelling feces And here's Elvis in action https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xkwwGxX1mw

I don't even like Nine Inch Nails, but Trent Reznor has earned my respect. For one thing, he seems to really be in it for the music and the fans. Trent pioneered not only releasing songs for free on the internet, but releasing the actual separate studio tracks, so you can get guitar, vocals, and everything all separate for at least one of their albums. This seems to show that he's a genuinely thoughtful person, too. I kind of like the guy, despite not liking the thing that made him famous.

I've seen this video a bunch of times since it got big and every time I've been like " this isn't a surprise, it was planned all along, this is so fake" and every single time by about a minute in I'm grinning all over my big stupid face because those tiny children and that old lady and all those people are enjoying it so much that who cares if it's not a surprise to that girl at the start, to those pople waiting for it to happen. It's so awesome.

So, the other night I went to go hang out at my girlfriend's place. She texted me and let me know that she was dogsitting so her friend could go to a basketball game that night. I was pretty ambivalent, since normally when she dogsits, it's for an old black lab, who is super sweet, but pretty lethargic. When I got there, this is what I found... Her friend's new puppy. Who was ridiculously snuggly/needy Every 5 minutes, she would wake up, yawn, and then move down just a little bit. Check to see that it was still okay. Then go right on back to dream land. She isn't completely housebroken yet, so piddled on the floor once a little, but who could be mad at this...? It was cold, and I got to cuddle with my girlfriend and a puppy at the same time. It was a good day.
