Grant Gustin, the actor, turns 24 next month FWIW. The real reason he looks so off is Hollywood has us used to seeing attractive actors in their mid 20s play 16-year-olds.

What i'm most curious about is the fact that Oliver, Diggle and Felicity are hanging around with detective Lance. I know we sort of assume that Lance knows but the show hasn't come right out and said it yet has it?

"Person of color" or "man of color" or "woman of color" are all reasonably-accepted, academic-sounding terms. Simply calling someone "coloured," however, has negative social and historical contexts and is best avoided. *shrug* Vernacular is complicated.
